Impact of Education Program upon Nurses' Knowledge towards Children under Mechanical Ventilation at Pediatric Teaching Hospitals in Baghdad City
...Show More Authors

Objective: impact of the education program for nurses' knowledge toward children under mechanical
ventilation, and to find out the relationships between nurses' knowledge and their general information.
Methodology: Quasi experimental study was carried out at the respiratory care units of Baghdad
Pediatric Teaching Hospitals started from February15th, until September 26th, 2011, A purposive (nonprobability)
sample of (23) nurses working in the respiratory care units, were selected from Children
Welfare and Pediatric Central Teaching Hospitals. The data were gathered through using of the
constructed multiple choice questionnaire using to evaluate the nurses knowledge using checklist, The
questionnaire consists of two parts the first one is general information data and the second part is
nurses' knowledge multiple choice form used pre test before application of the program and post test
after the application of the program. Descriptive statistical analysis procedure (frequency, and mean of
score and standard deviation) and inferential analysis procedure (person correlation coefficient and ttest
and ANOVA).
Results: The findings of the study indicated that nurses have moderate knowledge in pre test. But post
evaluation revealed high level of knowledge among nurses at RCU toward children under mechanical
ventilation. The program reflects an effect on nurses' knowledge. There were no statistical significant
association between nurses' knowledge and their general information.
Recommendations: The study recommended that great focusing should be directed toward the
educational aspects at respiratory care units by providing educational posters, guidelines, pamphlets
and manuals to enhance nurses' knowledge at RCU.

The Iraqi public's uses of digital television and cinema sites ( A field study ): Research extracted from a master's thesis
...Show More Authors

The research problem revolves around the Iraqi public's use of digital television and cinematic websites، and their importance to the academic study and society، as it examines the public's relationship with these websites، usage habits، and the reasons for their interaction with them. And for the prevalence of this phenomenon of use، it was necessary to address the intensity، intentionality، and timing of use to theoretically root the subject of the study، which is one of the modern studies in Iraq and the Arab world. The survey approach، where the research was based on the theory of uses and gratifications that confer positivity and activity on the mass media audience.

Development of natural deep eutectic solvent‐assisted liquid–liquid extraction method for soap removal from biodiesel: Optimization and kinetics
...Show More Authors
Abstract
The soap content in biodiesel is an important challenge during the production and purification processing of biodiesel. Natural deep eutectic solvents (NADES) have recently attracted considerable interest as an environmentally suitable substitute for traditional solvents in the biodiesel industry. This work investigates the soap removal from the contaminated biodiesel using NADES. Eight choline chloride‐based deep eutectic solvents (DESs) were screened using the conductor‐like screening model for real solvents (COSMO‐RS) to identify the most suitable solvent for soap removal and were validated experimentally. The effect of NADES molar ratio, NADES:biodiesel ratio, mixing speed and extraction ti
... Show More

Shedding Light on Thermodynamics and Physical Properties of Deep Eutectic Solvents for Separating Toluene-Heptane Mixtures Using COSMO-RS
...Show More Authors

A total of 150 deep eutectic solvents (DESs) with varying salt, hydrogen bond donor, and molar ratios were studied to develop a screening tool for separating toluene-heptane mixtures. The activity coefficient at infinite dilution (γ∞) of each DES was predicted using COSMO-RS, and selectivity (S∞), capacity (C∞), and performance index (PI) were calculated. Key DES properties, including density, viscosity, melting/freezing point, surface tension, and conductivity, were compiled from the literature to create a DES property library. A comprehensive screening tool with four evaluation criteria was developed, which identified ethyl triphenylphosphonium bromide:ZnCl2 (1:4) as the optimal solvent for toluene-heptane separation. Formulation of approximate mathematical model for incoming water to some dams on Tigris and Euphrates Rivers using spline function
...Show More Authors

n this paper, we formulate three mathematical models using spline functions, such as linear, quadratic and cubic functions to approximate the mathematical model for incoming water to some dams. We will implement this model on dams of both rivers; dams on the Tigris are Mosul and Amara while dams on the Euphrates are Hadetha and Al-Hindya.

Building and rationing test to measure the kinetic response to the movement of the player defender basketball junior time
...Show More Authors

The researchers believe the problem of searching the scarcity or limited tests of time kinetic response led to scarcity or limited availability of experimental research in exercises codified within the training curriculum for the junior class, and therefore has been weakening this physical variable as an important episode in the development of the players physical capacities as well as the lack of measure for this variable within the defensive skills in general and the skill of the player movement defender in particular, and it represents the goal of research in the treatment of the above through the construction and rationing test to measure the kinetic response to the movement of the player defender basketball junior time. Effect of Scan Rate and pH on Determination Amoxilline Using Screen Printed Carbon Electrode Modified with Functionalized Graphene Oxide
...Show More Authors

Graphene oxide GO was functionalized with 4-amino, 3-substituted 1H, 1, 2, 4 Triazole 5(4H) thion (ASTT) to obtain GOT. GOT characterized by FT-IR, XRD.via modification of the working electrode of the SPCE with the prepared nanomaterial (GOT) the effect of scan rate and pH on the determination of Amoxilline (AMOX) was studied using cyclic voltammetry. AMOX show various responses at pH ranging from 2 to 7 and also was observed sharp increase in the oxidation peaks in the pH 3. The formal potential (midpoint) for AMOX was highly pH-dependent. From the effect of scan rate, surface coverage concentration Γ of electroactive species the values of the electron transfer coefficient and the electron transfer constant rate ket was obtained as 5.39×

Comparative Analysis for the Seasonal Variations of the IF2 and T Ionospheric Indices during Solar Cycles 23 and 24
...Show More Authors

In this work, a comparative analysis for the behavior and pattern of the variations of the IF2 and T Ionospheric indices was conducted for the minimum and maximum years of solar cycles 23 and 24. Also, the correlative relationship between the two ionospheric indices was examined for the seasonal periods spanning from August 1996 to November 2008 for solar cycle 23 and from December 2008 to November 2019 for solar cycle 24. Statistical calculations were performed to compare predicted values with observed values for the selected indices during the tested timeframes. The study's findings revealed that the behavior of the examined indices exhibited almost similar variations throughout the studied timeframe. The seasonal variations were
