Feras muttasher Baghdad University-College Of Physical Education and Sport Sciences Motor coordination in basketball is considered one of the most important factors for success in skill performance accuracy and speed due to the defensive and offensive situations of the game. The problem of the research lies in the lack of tests that can specify the growth of motor coordination through which the relative change for a number of players can be noticed due to practice and training. The subjects of the research were (30) young league players of National Center for gifted in sports 2015-2016 U16. They were selected deliberately because it came first in the national league. A data base was founded for 100 players to come up with the results that were treated statistically. The researchers concluded designing and standardizing two tests for motor coordination procedures for young players under 16, motor coordination tests were applied for the first time in Iraq for youth basketball players, and specifying reference norms for motor coordination tests.
This paper proposes a new approach to model and analyze erect posture, based on a spherical inverted pendulum which is used to mimic the body posture. This paper studied the behaviour of reinforced reactive powder concrete (RPC) two-way slabs under static load. The experimental program included testing three simply supported slabs of 1000 mm length, 1000 mm width, and 70 mm thickness. Tested specimens were of identical properties except their steel fibers volume ratio (0.5 %, 1 %, and 1.5 %). Static test results revealed that, increasing steel fibers volume ratio from 0.5% to 1% and from 1% to 1.5%, led to an increase in: first crack load by (32.2 % and 52.3 %), ultimate load by (36.1 % and 17.0 %), ultimate deflection by (33.6 % and 3.4 %), absorbed energy by (128 % and 20.2 %), and the ultimate strain by (1.1 % and 6.73 %). A fast laser texturing technique has been utilized to produce micro/nano surface textures in Silicon by means of UV femtosecond laser. We have prepared good absorber surface for photovoltaic cells. The textured Silicon surface absorbs the incident light greater than the non-textured surface. The results show a photovoltaic current increase about 21.3% for photovoltaic cell with two-dimensional pattern as compared to the same cell without texturing.
