Comparative analysis of parameter estimation methods for Meixner process using wavelet packet transform
...Show More Authors

The current research creates an overall relative analysis concerning the estimation of Meixner process parameters via the wavelet packet transform. Of noteworthy presentation relevance, it compares the moment method and the wavelet packet estimator for the four parameters of the Meixner process. In this paper, the research focuses on finding the best threshold value using the square root log and modified square root log methods with the wavelet packets in the presence of noise to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the denoising process for the financial asset market signal. In this regard, a simulation study compares the performance of moment estimation and wavelet packets for different sample sizes. The results show that wavelet p

Evaluating and Improving Relative Efficiency The Banking Sector in Iraq Using Data Envelopment Analysis of The Output-Oriented VRS Model With Application
...Show More Authors

The banking sector is one of the important sectors in Iraq, and the last stage witnessed the emergence of several private banks in the competition market, and in order to determine the efficiency of existing banks, the resources available to government and private banks were analyzed and compared with two international banks to determine their efficiency ratios for the surveyed banks using data envelopment analysis, the research problem was diagnosed in the lack of interest in measuring the efficiency of banks by exploiting the resources available to maximize profits, the aim of the research is to determine the efficiency of the banks studied according to the direction of outputs and to conduct continuous analysis of the results in order

Six Sigma Technique to Reduce Waiting Time: A Practical Application in Passport Affairs Directorate
...Show More Authors

This study investigates the impact of the Six Sigma methodology on improving waiting times in passport directorates. The Six Sigma methodology is crucial for enhancing efficiency and effectiveness in passport directorates, aiming to reduce waiting times and increase customer satisfaction by organizing services more effectively. The research was conducted in the Passport Affairs Department (Mansour Passports) from November 8, 2022, to April 19, 2023, with a sample size of 53 employees and citizens. The problem of this study is to shed light on the role played by the Six Sigma methodology in improving waiting time at the Passport Affairs Department. The study adopted the DMAIC methodology (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control) an
