Histopathological and Immunohistochemical Study of Aflatoxin B1 in Freshly Slaughtered Iraqi Sheep Meat, using CD Marker of TNF-α

The current study was conducted in Baghdad governorate (Karkh and Al-Rasafa regions) which included collecting 50 samples of freshly slaughtered sheep meat randomly collected from local slaughter areas and approved governmental slaughterhouses (25 liver and 25 ulna muscles). The results of the aflatoxin B1 detection showed that all samples were contaminated with this toxin at different concentrations ranging from 25–422 ppb and 65–492 ppb for each ulna muscles and liver, respectively. Detection and Detoxification of Aflatoxin B1 from Fish Feedstuff Using Microwave and Ozone Gas

    The current study was designed to investigate the occurrence of aflatoxin B1 in thirty two samples of fish feedstuff were collected randomly from some Iraqi local markets using ELISA technique. Aflatoxin B1 was detected in thirty samples and the concentration of toxin ranged from 50 ppb to 1000 ppb.  

   Microwave and ozone were used for detoxification of aflatoxin B1 from sample with highest concentration (1000 ppb), two degree of temperature and two times (50°C and 100°C for 5 minute and 10 minute to each degree) of microwave, also two doses and two times (2 g and 4 g for 5 minute and 10 minute to each dose) of ozone gas were used.

Isolation and identification of fungi from fish feedstuff of cyprinus carpio and detection of aflatoxin b1 and ochratoxin a using ELISA technique

This study was conducted at the College of Education for Pure Sciences (Ibn Al-Haitham), University of Baghdad. The aim of this study was to isolate and diagnose fungi from fish feedstuff samples, and also detection of aflatoxin B1 and ochratoxin A in fish muscles and feedstuffs. Randomly, the samples were collected from some fish farms from Baghdad, Babil, Wasit, Anbar, and Salah al-Din provinces. Detection of Aflatoxin M1 in Pasteurized Canned Milk and Using of UV Radiation for Detoxification

The current study was designed to investigate the presence of aflatoxin M1 in 25 samples of pasteurized canned milk which collected randomly from some Iraqi local markets using ELISA technique. Aflatoxin M1 was present in 21 samples, the concentration of aflatoxin M1 ranged from (0.25-50 ppb). Detection of Aflatoxin B1 in Some Canned Foods and Reduction of Toxin by Ultraviolet Radiation

This study was aimed to detect the presence of aflatoxin B1 in thirty nine samples of some canned foods (6 samples of beef meat, 4 samples of chicken meat, 6 samples of fish meat, 5 samples of mushroom and 18 samples of different types of legumes) which collected randomly from some Iraqi local markets using ELISA technique.
