This study aimed to estimate soil erodibility in the middle of Erbil province. The results of indirect methods were compared with the observed K-factor in order to determine the most suitable method. The tests were carried out for nine soil locations by taking samples from topsoil. Samples were analyzed for physicochemical properties. The soil in study area is mostly clay and silt clay. The analysis was performed using three assessment models of soil erodibility; the Erosion Productivity Impact Calculator (EPIC), Vaezi et al and Universal Soil Loss Equation (USLE) models. Soil erodibility for direct measured K values varied from 0.27 to 0.39 t h MJ−1mm−1 with standard deviation of 0.041

RADAR PARAMETER GENERATION TO IDENTIFY THE TARGET
...Show More Authors

Due to the popularity of radar, receivers often “hear” a great number of other transmitters in
addition to their own return merely in noise. The dealing with the problem of identifying and/or
separating a sum of tens of such pulse trains from a number of different sources are often received on
the one communication channel. It is then of interest to identify which pulses are from which source,
based on the assumption that the different sources have different characteristics. This search deals with a
graphical user interface (GUI) to generate the radar pulse in order to use the required radar signal in any
specified location.

The current study was conducted during the period from July 2018 to April 2019. One hundred and forty samples from different regions of Baghdad city, Iraq,  were collected from 50 calves, 40 children, and 50 water supplies for diagnosis of Giardia intestinalis. The prevalence of Giardia intestinalis in calves, children, and water by microscopic examination by using sucrose flotation, 30%, 27.5%, and 16% respectively. Twelve positive PCR products were sequenced and deposited in the Genebank database for the first time in Iraq, phylogenic analysis demonstrated that 5 sequences belong to G.intestinalis  for human(MN244831, MH925331, MN244829, MN244828, MN244830), 3 sequences for calves (MN244827,

GENERATION AND TOOTH CONTACT ANALYSIS (TCA) OF HYPOID GEAR DRIVE
...Show More Authors

The present work covers the Face-Hobbing method for generation and simulation of meshing of Face hobbed hypoid gear drive. In this work the generation process of hobbed hypoid gear has been achieved by determination of the generation function of blade cutter. The teeth surfaces have been drawn depending on the simulation of the cutting process and the head cutter motion. Tooth contact analysis (TCA) of such gear drive is presented to evaluate analytically the transmission error function for concave and convex tooth side due to misalignment errors. TCA results show that the gear is very sensitive to misalignment errors and
the increasing of the gear teeth number decrease the transmission error for both concave and convex tooth sides a

Composite materials are widely used in the engineered assets as aerospace structures, marine and air navigation owing to their high strength/weight ratios. Detection and identification of damage in the composite structures are considered as an important part of monitoring and repairing of structural systems during the service to avoid instantaneous failure. Effective cost and reliability are essential during the process of detecting. The Lamb wave method is an effective and sensitive technique to tiny damage and can be applied for structural health monitoring using low energy sensors; it can provide good information about the condition of the structure during its operation by analyzing the propagation of the wave in the

The degradation and mineralization of 4-chlorophenol (4-CP) by advanced oxidation processes (AOPs) was investigated in this work, using both of UV/H2O2 and photo-Fenton UV/H2O2/Fe+3 systems. The reaction was influenced by the input concentration of H2O2, the amount of the iron catalyst, the type of iron salt, the pH and the concentration of 4-CP. A colored solution of benzoquinon can be observed through the first 5 minutes of irradiation time for UV/H2O2 system when low concentration (0.01mol/L) of H2O2 was used. The colored solution of benzoquinon could also be observed through the first 5 minutes for the UV/H2O2/Fe+3 system at high

Near-ideal p-CdS/n-Si heterojunction band edge lineup has been investigated for the first time with aid of I-V and C-V measurements. The heterojunction was manufactured by deposition of CdS films prepared by chemical spray pyrolysis technique (CSP) on monocrystalline n-type silicon. The experimental data of the conduction band offset Ec and valence band offset Ec were compared with theoretical values. The band offset Ec=530meV and Ev=770meV obtained at 300K. The energy band diagram of p-CdS/n-Si HJ was constructed. C-V measurements depict that the junction was an abrupt type and the built-in voltage was determined from C-2-V plot

Background/objectives: Inflammatory mediators such as prostaglandin E2 (PGE2) and nitric oxide (NO) are key indicators of pulp response to mechanical trauma. However, the influence of cavity depth on their release dynamics remains unclear. This study aimed to evaluate the effects of different cavity depths—moderate (without pulp exposure) and deep (with pulp exposure)—on the release of PGE2 and NO in the pulp tissue of rat mandibular incisors at two time intervals (3 and 9 h).Methods: In total, 40 male Wistar rats were divided into two main groups (n = 20) based on cavity depth.
