Samarium(III) ions react with (l-2(2-benzoinidazolyl-azo)-2-hydroxy-3-naphthoic acid in basic medium (pH = 8.0) forms a red-orange complex at A.max (550nm). The complex was found to be stable for at least 48 hrs. at the given pH. The apparent molar absorptivity is 7776.77  L.mol-1.Cm-1 and a linear calibration curve is obtained in the range (0.639x  10-5M - 6.350x 10 -5M). The stoichiometry of complex was confirmed by using mole ratio method which indicated that ratio of reagent to metal is 3:1. The crystal lattice constants (a, b, and c) were calculated based on the crystal lattice properties. Fifty isolates of Staphylococcus aureus were obtained out of 220 samples collected from clinical sources after a diagnosis of the bacteria, and then a sensitivity test was performed for the isolates, and the minimum inhibitor concentration of 15 antibiotics in the bacterial isolates under study was determined using the Vitek -2 Compact System device. A theoretical calculation of the reorientation energy for non adiabatic electron transfer at
interface between metal and semiconductor system was carried out. The continuum outer
sphere theory of electron transfer reaction has been extensively used for electron transfer

      Cadmium Oxide films have been prepared by vacuum evaporation technique on a glass substrate at room temperature. Structural and optical properties of the films are studied at different annealing temperatures (375 and 475) ËšC, for the thickness (450) nm at one hour. The crystal structure of the samples was studied by X- ray diffraction. The highest value of the absorbance is equal to (78%) in the wavelength (530) nm, at annealing temperature (375) ËšC. The value of at a rate of deposition is (10) nm/s. The value of optical energy gap found is equal to (2.22) eV.
