يُعدّ الأشخاص ذوو الإعاقة أكبر أقلية في العالم وأكثرها حرمانًا، حيث تشير الإحصاءات إلى أن نحو مليار شخص، أي ما يعادل 15% من سكان العالم، يعانون من بعض أشكال الإعاقة، مع تزايد معدلاتها في البلدان النامية. وتشير الدراسات العلمية إلى أن ذوي الإعاقة قادرون على مزاولة العمل بإتقان ومثابرة، بل وقد تتفوق مهاراتهم أحيانًا على مهارات الأشخاص غير المعاقين، إذا تم اختيار العمل المناسب لقدراتهم ومواهبهم. كما أن حق العمل مكفول دوليًا ومحليًا، ويشمل الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة لما يشكله من أهمية في الحفاظ على كرامة الإنسان وتعزيز سعادته. وقد تضمنت المواثيق الدولية والتشريعات الداخلية قواعد لحماية وتعزيز حقوق وحريات هذه الفئة المستضعفة، ومنع التمييز ضدهم والقضاء عليه. ومع ذلك، لا تزال هناك معوقات وتحديات تقف حاجزًا أمام توظيف ذوي الإعاقة، سواء في المؤسسات الحكومية أو الأهلية في العراق، والتي تتجسد أساسًا في الطريقة التي ينظر بها المجتمع إليهم.

These changes overshadowed the nature of the work of the international organization, especially its first and most important executive organ (the Security Council). This has sometimes weakened and dulled the Security Council's role in performing the tasks stipulated in the Charter of the Organization, which has led the Organization itself to work on reforms within it in general and to seek reforms in the Security Council in particular. Academic and advisory efforts were made to submit proposals for amendment to be reflected on the Council's performance effectiveness.
Emotional competence, is relatively a new concept, stands for the ability of people to perceive their feelings and emotions, and sharing them with others. It also refers to capability in optimizing these feeling and emotions, and managing them over various situations. Thus, this study aims to examine the efficiency of counseling program in developing an emotional competence among intermediate school students in Baghdad city. The sample included group of female students at intermediate stage. The findings revealed none of experimental and control groups have statistically significant differences in pre-posttests of emotional competence efficiency.

This study with OWAS, analyzed working postures for manual material handling of laminations at stacking workstation for water pump assembly line in Electrical Industrial Company (EICO) / Baghdad. A computer program, WinOWAS, was used for the study. In real life workstation was found that more than 26% of the working postures observed were classified as either AC2 (slightly harmful), AC3 (distinctly harmful).
