Preparation of Some (Transition Metal-Flavylium Salt- Flavon) Complexes
...Show More Authors

Three ligands were prepared, spectroscopic method and elemental analysis verified their structures. The L1 and L2 ligands are flavylium salts while the third one L3 is a Flavon. The reactions between transition metal salts and the ligands have synthesized two groups of new metal complexes, one group contains L1, L3 coordinated with the metal ion. The other group contains L2, L3 and the metal. These complexes have been identified by available spectroscopic tools (UV-Visible and IR), the C.H.N results confirmed the proposed structures. The experimental data disclosed that the complexes were coordinated by 6the coordinate with mono-and bidentate ligands forming octahedral structure, in which L3 acts as monodentate and L1, L2 as bidentate ligands. The metal linked with L1 and L2 through the oxygen in ortho position in ring B, were the linkage of the metal with L3 takes place through the oxygen of the carbonyl group.

Forbidden Montage and the transition Technique in one-snapshot Movies 1917 Film- A model: محمد عبد الجبار كاظم-عذراء محمد حسن

Starting from the term (forbidden montage) initiated by the French critic (Andre Bazin) as a method of processing the movies that depend on (mise en scene) achieved by the action of the camera and its ability to photograph and employ the depth of the field, in addition to the possibility of free movement without interruption in the filming environment in order to avoid montage as much as possible (the montage that distorts focus and distracts attention and moves away from realism, which is the most important theoretical pillar of Bazin in photography). The pursuit was behind a cinema that depicts its topics in one integrated snapshot with all its details thus approximating reality without any interference of montage. Our study sta

Formation of self-assembled polymeric complexes with bridged azido-dicarboxylato ligands
...Show More Authors

In this publication, several six coordinate bridged-polymeric metal complexes are reported. The reaction of 4,4`-dipyridine with ethyl chloroacetate in mole ratio of 1:2 gave the multidentate carboxylate ligand bis(N-carboxylatomethyl)-4,4`-dipyridinium). The reaction of the ligand with metal chloride and sodium azide resulted in the formation of the required polymeric complexes. Upon complex formation, the carboxylato ligand behaves as a neutral multidantate species. The mode of bonding and overall geometry of the complexes were determined through physicochemical and spectroscopic methods. These studies revealed octahedral geometry about metal centres and complexes of the general formula [Cr2(L)(N3)4]Cl2.H2O, Na2[Ag2(L)(N3)4].H2O and [M2(L

In this review, previous studies on the synthesis and characterization of the metal Complexes with paracetamol by elemental analysis, thermal analysis, (IR, NMR and UV-Vis (spectroscopy and conductivity. In reviewing these studies, the authors found that paracetamol can be coordinated through the pair of electrons on the hydroxyl O-atom, carbonyl O-atom, and N-atom of the amide group. If the paracetamol was a monodentate ligand, it will be coordinated by one of the following atoms O-hydroxyl, O-carbonyl or N-amide. But if the paracetamol was bidentate, it is coordinated by atoms (O-carbonyl and N-amide), (O-hydroxyl and N-amide) or (O-carbonyl and O-hydroxyl). Abstract<p>The new Schiff base (L) “4‐[(2,4‐dimethoxy‐benzylidene)‐amino]‐1,5‐dimethyl‐2‐phenyl‐1,2‐dihydro‐pyrazol‐3‐one” was synthesized from 2,4‐dimethoxy‐benzaldehyde and 4‐amino‐1,5‐dimethyl‐2‐phenyl‐1,2‐dihydropyrazol‐3‐one, and the geometry of Schiff base was characterized and determined by proton nuclear magnetic resonance (1H‐NMR), mass, Fourier transform infrared (FT‐IR), and ultraviolet‐visible (UV‐vis) spectroscopy. Schiff complexes of Ni(II), Pd(II), Pt(IV), Zn(II), Cd(II), and Mg(II) have been prepared by reaction of ion metals with as‐prepared Schiff base. Zinc Oxide Hydrogen Sulfide Removal Catalyst/ Preparation, Activity Test and Kinetic Study
...Show More Authors

Hydrogen sulfide removal catalyst was prepared chemically by precipitation of zinc bicarbonate at a controlled pH. The physical and chemical catalyst characterization properties were investigated. The catalyst was tested for its activity in adsorption of H2S using a plant that generates the H2S from naphtha hydrodesulphurization and a unit for the adsorption of H2S. The results comparison between the prepared and commercial catalysts revealed that the chemical method can be used to prepare the catalyst with a very good activity.

It has observed that the hydrogen sulfide removal over zinc oxide catalyst follows first order reaction kinetics with activation energy of 19.26 kJ/mole and enthalpy and e

STUDY OF OPTIMUM CONDITIONS FOR REMOVAL OF HEAVY METAL ELEMENTS BY LOCALLY ISOLATED FUNGI Aspergillus niger.: STUDY OF OPTIMUM CONDITIONS FOR REMOVAL OF HEAVY METAL ELEMENTS BY LOCALLY ISOLATED FUNGI Aspergillus niger.
...Show More Authors

The best optimum temperature for the isolate was 30○C while the pH for the maximum mineral removal was 6. The best primary mineral removal was 100mg/L, while the maximum removal for all minerals was obtained after 8 hrs, and the maximum removal efficiency was obtained after 24 hrs. The results have proved that the best aeration for maximum removal was obtained at rotation speed of 150 rpm/ minute. Inoculums of 5ml/ 100ml which contained 106 cell/ ml showed maximum removal for the isolate.
