The determiner phrase is a syntactic category that appears inside the noun phrase and makes it definite or indefinite or quantifies it. The present study has found wide parametric differences between the English and Arabic determiner phrases in terms of the inflectional features, the syntactic distribution of determiners and the word order of the determiner phrase itself. The researcher dealt with the importance of striking proverbs in the Holy Qur’an and their uses and benefits in Islamic education and ethics and between the types of proverbs, so it emerged through the study the following things that the proverbs are of three types: authorized, latent, and transmitted, and it has been shown through the current study that the proverb has conditions that the proverb is not valid except There are five: (realism, clarity, environmental, meaning injury, and good pronunciation). This dissertation studies the application of equivalence theory developed by Mona Baker in translating Persian to Arabic. Among various translation methodologies, Mona Baker’s bottom-up equivalency approach is unique in several ways. Baker’s translation approach is a multistep process. It starts with studying the smallest linguistic unit, “the word”, and then evolves above the level of words leading to the translation of the entire text. Equivalence at the word level, i.e., word for word method, is the core point of Baker’s approach.
