By using precipitation polymerization, liquid electrodes of polymers imprinted with Mebeverine hydrochloride and metronidazole benzoate were created whereas the imprinted polymer (MIP) and non imprinted (NIP) polymers were prepared by using Mebeverine hydrochloride and Metronidazole benzoate qua a template. In the polymerization process, 2-Acrylamido-2-methyl-1-propane Sulphonic acid (AMPS) or 1-Vinylimidazole (VIZ) was used qua monomer, pentaerythritol triacrylate (PETRA) or Divinylbanzene (DVB) was used qua a cross-linker while benzoyl peroxide (BPO) was used as an initiator. The MIP membranes and the membranes of NIP were created by using Dibutyl Sebacate (DBS) and Tris(2-ethylhexyl)phosphate(TEHP) qua plasticizers

A batch and flow injection (FI) spectrophotometric methods are described for the determination of barbituric acid in aqueous and urine samples. The method is based on the oxidative coupling reaction of barbituric acid with 4-aminoantipyrine and potassium iodate to form purple water soluble stable product at λ 510 nm. Good linearity for both methods was obtained ranging from 2 to 60 μg mL−1, 5–100 μg mL−1 for batch and FI techniques, respectively. The limit of detection (signal/noise = 3) of 0.45 μg mL−1 for batch method and 0.48 μg mL−1 for FI analysis was obtained. The proposed methods were applied successfully for the determination of barbituric acid in tap water, river water, and urine samples with good recoveries of 99.92

In this work 27 events have been chosen for the period from (17 Feb 2000 to 10 Sep 2014) to analyze their intensity profile and find out what is the most effective reason behind the bulk of the accelerated SEPs as seen in the interval from the onset to the maximum intensity. The aim of this work is to study the influence of the type of fiber glass –mat on fatigue behavior of composite material which is manufactured from polyester and E-glass (woven roving, chopped strand mat (CSM)) as a laminate with a constant fiber volume fraction (VF) of 33%. The results showed that the laminates reinforced with E-glass (woven roving) [0/90, ±45.0/90] and [0/90, CSM, 0/90] have lower fatigue strength than the laminates reinforced with E-glass [0/90]₃,[CSM]₃ and [CSM, 0/90, CSM]  although they had different tensile strength; the best laminate was [0/90]₃ .
