Background

Introduction:

Self -medication(SM) is worldwide issue, that have serious adverse effects on individuals and communities

Method:

A descriptive cross-sectional study was carried out among medical students in Anbar   and Fallujah Universities during the period from February to March 2018.  The subjects were asked to fill a questionnaire that consisted from questions for age, gender, educational level, and employment status, in addition, questions for self-medication history.

Data Hiding in 3D Model Based on Surface Properties
...Show More Authors

Data hiding strategies have recently gained popularity in different fields; Digital watermark technology was developed for hiding copyright information in the image visually or invisibly. Today, 3D model technology has the potential to alter the field because it allows for the production of sophisticated structures and forms that were previously impossible to achieve. In this paper, a new watermarking method for the 3D model is presented. The proposed method is based on the geometrical and topology properties of the 3D model surface to increase the security. The geometrical properties are based on computing the mean curvature for a surface and topology based on the number of edges around each vertex, the vertices

Abstract<p>Semantic segmentation realization and understanding is a stringent task not just for computer vision but also in the researches of the sciences of earth, semantic segmentation decompose compound architectures in one elements, the most mutual object in a civil outside or inside senses must classified then reinforced with information meaning of all object, it’s a method for labeling and clustering point cloud automatically. 3D Reservoir Modeling of Buzurgan Oil Field, Southern Iraq
...Show More Authors

This study aims to set up a 3D static model to characterize and evaluate Mishrif Formation which represents the main reservoir in Buzurgan Oilfield, southern Iraq. Six wells have been selected to set up structural, facies and petrophysical models of Mishrif reservoir by using Petrel Software. The structural model has been built based on the structural contour map of the top of Mishrif Formation, which derived from seismic interpretation, and by using different static algorithms in Petrel Software. The structural model showed that the Buzurgan Oilfield represents an anticlinal fold with two domes north and south separated by a depression. The petrophysical model included the porosity model and water saturation model. Th

3D Object Recognition Using Fast Overlapped Block Processing Technique
...Show More Authors

Three-dimensional (3D) image and medical image processing, which are considered big data analysis, have attracted significant attention during the last few years. To this end, efficient 3D object recognition techniques could be beneficial to such image and medical image processing. However, to date, most of the proposed methods for 3D object recognition experience major challenges in terms of high computational complexity. This is attributed to the fact that the computational complexity and execution time are increased when the dimensions of the object are increased, which is the case in 3D object recognition. Therefore, finding an efficient method for obtaining high recognition accuracy with low computational complexity is essentia

Review of 3D Networks-On-Chip Simulators and Plugins
...Show More Authors

A comprehensive review focuses on 3D network-on-chip (NoC) simulators and plugins while paying attention to the 2D simulators as the baseline is presented. Discussions include the programming languages, installation configuration, platforms and operating systems for the respective simulators. In addition, the simulator’s properties and plugins for design metrics evaluations are addressed. This review is intended for the early career researchers starting in 3D NoC, offering selection guidelines on the right tools for the targeted NoC architecture, design, and requirements.

Experimental determination of hydrate phase equilibrium for different gas mixtures containing methane, carbon dioxide and nitrogen with motor current measurements
...Show More Authors

Hydrate dissociation equilibrium conditions for carbon dioxide + methane with water, nitrogen + methane with water and carbon dioxide + nitrogen with water were measured using cryogenic sapphire cell. Measurements were performed in the temperature range of 275.75 K–293.95 K and for pressures ranging from 5 MPa to 25 MPa. The resulting data indicate that as the carbon dioxide concentration is increased in the gas mixture, the gas hydrate equilibrium temperature increases. In contrast, by increasing the nitrogen concentration in the gas mixtures containing methane or carbon dioxide decreased the gas hydrate equilibrium temperatures. Furthermore, the cage occupancies for the carbon dioxide + methane system were evaluated using the Van der Wa

Measurements of radon gas concentration in surface soil in Baghdad city
...Show More Authors

In the present work, radon gas concentrations in different surface soil samples in Baghdad governorate were measured using RAD-7 detector. The results have been shown that, the Radon gas concentrations ranged between (41.67±1.78Bq/m3), to (185.67±4.22Bq/m3), a map showing the distribution of the concentration of radon in selected areas was defined to identify areas with high pollution level. The reason for the high concentration of radon is that these surface soil samples are taken from agricultural areas. It is also known that fertilizers contain uranium levels as well as areas bombed in wars in the country. It is worth noting that all radon concentrations in Baghdad governorate are below the recommended minimum of 200-300Bq/m3) (Inte

Calibrating Range Measurements of Lidars Using Fixed Landmarks in Unknown Positions
...Show More Authors

We consider the problem of calibrating range measurements of a Light Detection and Ranging (lidar) sensor that is dealing with the sensor nonlinearity and heteroskedastic, range-dependent, measurement error. We solved the calibration problem without using additional hardware, but rather exploiting assumptions on the environment surrounding the sensor during the calibration procedure. More specifically we consider the assumption of calibrating the sensor by placing it in an environment so that its measurements lie in a 2D plane that is parallel to the ground. Then, its measurements come from fixed objects that develop orthogonally w.r.t. the ground, so that they may be considered as fixed points in an inertial reference frame. Moreov
