Frankenstein Complex in Daniel H. Wilson's Robopocalypse ( ): Artificial Intelligence Conspiracies
With the advent of technology
the fear of losing control has consistently
accompanied humanity. While humans have discovered
invented
and
created many remarkable things
they have also been haunted by the
possibility of their creations turning against them. This fear
often referred to
as the Frankenstein Complex
derives its name from Mary Shelley's
Frankenstein ()
in which Dr. Frankenstein's creation ultimately destroys
its maker. The Frankenstein Complex embodies the subconscious fear of
artificial intelligence (AI) surpassing and potentially dominating humankind.
This apprehension has inspired numerous literary works
including Daniel H.
Wilson’s novels. The present study examines the widespread fear of AI
which has fueled conspiracy theories in literature. These theories have not
only amplified public anxiety but also hindered understanding among those
with limited knowledge of AI and robotics. Dr. Wilson
a robotics expert
uses
his imagination as a driving force for both his writing and his inventions. The
research focuses on incidents leading to the rise of robots
the concept of the
New War
how it was fought
and how it concluded. By comparing
contrasting
and analyzing literary elements and devices with prominent
conspiracy theories
the study highlights the interplay between fiction and
scientific development. The researchers conclude that while many conspiracy
theories contain elements of truth
they often inspire scientists to explore them
further. Additionally
some conspiracy theories warrant serious
consideration. The study recommends acknowledging the Frankenstein
Complex while maintaining faith in the potential benefits of artificial
intelligence.

Pre-processing Importance for Extracting Contours from
Noisy Echocardiographic Images
Contours extraction from two dimensional echocardiographic images has been a challenge in digital image processing. This is essentially due to the heavy noise, poor quality of these images and some artifacts like papillary muscles, intra-cavity structures as chordate, and valves that can interfere with the endocardial border tracking. In this paper, we will present a technique to extract the contours of heart boundaries from a sequence of echocardiographic images, where it started with pre-processing to reduce noise and produce better image quality. By pre-processing the images, the unclear edges are avoided, and we can get an accurate detection of both heart boundary and movement of heart valves.

Effects of Castor Oil Nanoemulsion Extracted by Hexane on the Fourth Larval stage of Culex quinquefsciatus from Al Hawizeh Marsh/Iraq, and Non- Targeted Organism
The current study aims to show the importance of plant products as mosquitocides against Culex quinquefasciatus. Castor oil Nanoemulsions were subedit in various ratios including castor oil, ethanol, tween 80, and deionized water by using ultrasonication. Thermodynamic, centrifugation, PH, assay which improved that the formula of 10 ml of castor oil, ethanol 5ml, tween 80 (14 ml) and deionized water 71ml was more stable than other formulas. The stable formula of castor oil nanoemulsion was characterized by transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and dynamic light scattering (DLS). ABSTRACT Background: Color changes that are detectable to human eye can affect the esthetic appearance of ceramic veneers. The purpose of this study was to evaluate and compare the effect of artificial accelerated aging on the color of ceramic veneers cemented with different resin cements. Materials and Methods: Sixty discs were prepared with 0.5 mm thickness, 30 discs made from IPS e.max press (Ivoclar Vivadent) and 30 discs were made from VITA Enamic (VITA Zahnfabrik).
