The thin films of cadmium oxide (CdO) were deposited using the SILAR (Successive ionic layer absorption and reaction) method at various deposition cycles. CdO thin films were made on glass substrates at a temperature of  95°C, using a cadmium acetate source material and an ammonium hydroxide solution. One of the main criteria that impact the quality of thin films is the number of deposition cycles. The size of the crystals decreases with the increase in the number of cycles from 33.7 nm at the immersion cycle 10 to 22.7 nm at the immersion cycle 20, as shown by the X-ray diffraction results.  Eight soil samples were selected around Najaf governorate at depth levels 40-50 cm. X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF) was used to determine the concentrations of major and trace elements. Liner and mass attenuation coefficient (µ, µ_ρ) have been determined at gamma energies (662, 1172,1332) keV using NaI (Tl) detector. The range of linear attenuation coefficients for calculated samples were (0.553-1.163) cm^-1, (0.122-0.178) cm^-1 and (0.049-0.105) cm^-1 at (662, 1172,1332) keV respectively. The fluctuation and expansion ratios have been studied for cylindrical gas-solid fluidized columns by using air as fluidizing medium and Paracetamol as the bed material. The variables were the column diameter (0.0762, 0.15, and 0.18 m), static bed height (0.05, 0.07, and 0.09 m), and air velocity to several times of minimum fluidization velocity. The results showed that both the fluctuation and expansion ratios had a direct relation with air velocity and an inverse one with column diameter and static bed height. A good agreement was between the experimental results and the calculated values by using the correlation equations from the literature.

Psoriasis is a common chronic skin condition characterized by infiltration of inflammatory cells into the epidermis and altered keratinocyte differentiation.

In this work, psoriasis was induced by an imiquimod 5% cream, an immune response modifier that can induce psoriasis-like skin inflammation when applied topically in mice. Guggulsterone prepared as a suspension and has been orally given to mice before imiquimod application. The results of the current study showed that guggulsterone suspension can significantly reduce psoriasis area and severity index in (guggul suspension+imiquimod group as compared with both control group and (vehicle suspension+imiquimod ) group.

In this study the assessment radon concentration in sludge of Oil
Fields in North Oil Company (N.O.C.) of Iraq have been studied
using CR-39 solid–state nuclear track detector technique. A total of
34 samples selected from 12 oil stations in the company have been
placed in the dosimeters. The average radon concentration was found
to be 162.29 Bq/m³ which is fortunately lower than the standard
international limit. The potential alpha energy concentration and
annual effective dose have been calculated. A proportional
relationship between the annual effective dose and radon
concentration within the studied region has been certified.

   In the present work , radon concentration was measured indoor buildings in the College of Education for Pure Science/ Ibn Al- Haitham University of Baghdad using detector (CR-39) by counting track of alpha  resulting from decay series of uranium on the detectors which have exposure to air inside the rooms for (30) days , have been applied the equation (1) and (2) to calculate concentrations of Radon and the results showed that all samples were within the allowable range globally except two samples F1 and F2 where concentrations were (445.868Bq/m³) and (436.791Bq/m³) respectively , they were higher than allowable range globally which was (200-300) Bq/m³ recorded by (ICRP) [1] .
