The results indicated that the level of future anxiety among nurses working at government hospitals was (64.85%), a high percentage, whereas life orientation was (65.96%), a low percentage. Additionally , the results showed that the Pearson correlation coefficient between future anxiety and life orientation was (0.455-), which was a negative correlation coefficient, and that the relationship was inverse that is the greater the future anxiety the less is the level of life orientation. Likewise, the findings showed the absence of a statistically significant effect between future anxiety and the interactions between the study variables (sex, educational qualification, experience, and place of residence, the monthly salary). Besides, there was no statistically significant effect between future anxiety and sex, and there was no statistically significant effect between life orientation and bilateral interactions between the (educational qualification, the monthly salary), and there was no statistically significant effect between life orientation and the combined interactions .
