This paper studies the main characteristics of the traditional urban configuration of Arab cities, as an important built heritage, discussing the approach adopted with such configuration at the local level, and examines its ability to preserve the character of the city, as well as, its responsiveness to the recent  requirements of its society that constantly change; in order to reach the appropriate procedures to deal with the traditional urban configuration of the Iraqi city to achieve a vital cultural communication with the vernacular built heritage, by dealing with the Form-Moral Values structure. The research studies the melody and rhythmic characteristics in the songs of the Baghdadi quartet, as it is a type of popular singing in Iraq, reviewing its origins, social purposes, special and public events in which it is performed. The methodological framework included the problem of the research, the need for it, its importance, its purpose, and the limits of the research which included the objective limit: the songs of the Baghdadi quartet, the spatial limit: the city of Baghdad and the temporal limit (1960-1980) and identifying the terms included in the research.

In this study 737 stool specimens were collected from people attending some primary health care centres and hospitals in North of Baghdad, during the period from beginning of April 2009 till the end of March 2010. Different factors were examined to be related with the prevalence of Cryptosporidiosis which were (number of family member, travelling history, source of drinking water and domestic animal present). Significant relations (p≤0.05) were observed between infection rate and the following factor: -Number of family member: The high percentage of Cryptosporidium spp positive cases were seen in families composed of (15-19) and (more than 20) individual which were 28.32% and 16.37% respectively when compared with other family clusters -T

The aimes of this study is to investigate Optimism and Pessimism among university undergraduates including the first and fourth stage students ,the sample of this stoudy contained (326) students ,(166) male and (160) female, The researcher adopted a scale of Dember et al (1889) translated and adjusted  to arabic version by Al-Dosoke (2001). The results have shown that   students have  optimism including the first and fourth stage and no significant difference between the students  as far as ncluding the first and fourth  study stage and gender, Implications of the results and recommendations for further research are discussed.
