Derivatives of Schiff-bases possess a great importance in pharmaceutical chemistry. They can be used for synthesizing different types of bioactive compounds. The acid (I) was synthesized from the reaction of dichloroethanoic acid with 2 moles of p-aminoacetanilide. The main aim of this study is to evaluate the remaining oil in previously produced zones, locate the water productive zone and look for any bypassed oil behind casing in not previously perforated intervals. Initial water saturation was calculated from digitized open hole logs using a cut-off value of 10% for irreducible water saturation.      This study observed the formation of struvite crystals in wastewater using natural zeolite activated with Mg²⁺ ions. Mg²⁺ ions released from natural zeolite would react with PO₄^3- and NH₄⁺ ions from in wastewater to form struvite crystals. The results showed that at pH 8.5, the removal of PO₄^3- and NH₄⁺ ions was more effective using the modified zeolite than the natural zeolite.
