The current study is qualitative in nature; it focuses on examining the participants‟ various pictorial representations of the word APPLE to ultimately understand their patterns and sources of thinking. That is, the study is basically focusing on the concept of concept, the invisible part of language. To meet this objective, the researchers adopted Fillmore‟s (1982) theory of Frame Semantics. Data of the study has been collected from two sources, secondary and primary, as represented by the concrete word APPLE, and the eight purposively selected participants for being talented in drawing, respectively. The study has concluded that at the denotative level, the word APPLE has encompassed a range of different details, let alone the connotative aspect of it. The participants have not only disagreed denotatively, but they have also varied stylistically through attaching different adjectives and nouns to the word apple, such as bitten, rotten, complete, colored; apple iphone, teeth, tree, lady, etc. Further, not all the participants have associated APPLE to the fruit; P1, for instance, thinks metonymically, as she recalls an iphone device, whereas P5 thinks metaphtonymically. The word APPLE represents a catalyst for highlighting an array of various frames, frame elements, and scenes reflecting as a result the participants‟ distinct levels of experiences, awareness, level of thinking, etc. Finally, the theory of frame semantics has proven its applicability to visual images particularly to pictorial concepts.

The Arabic pronouns received a lot of attention from the ancient Arab grammarians, so they explained their origins, the different forms of their structure, and the aspects of the Arabs’ use of them, and explained the aspects and reasons for these uses, with what they had of linguistic insight, which guided them to clarify the truth of these pronouns.

Its linguistic formulas are traced from the ancient Arabic texts, and by ancient I mean the texts of the era of linguistic ci
The present research aims at: First, to examine the reasons behind using silence/pause-based unintentional incongruities in selected instances from the British Sitcom Mind Your Language; second, to explore specifically the types of silence/pause-based unintentional incongruities and the different facial gestures that accompany each of these types. To meet these two objectives, the analysis will be theoretically and conceptually-based, respectively. Conclusions, as far as the first objective is concerned, have shown that silence can be used to reflect: the sense of being inattentive; lack of understanding; being unfamiliar with what one hears; the time needed for thinking and associating, and the act of hiding one's nervousness, etc.

The current study, which is a part of a master’s thesis, aims at investigating the role of gender and culture in interpreting and understanding the caricatures that deal with women’s issues in Arab societies. Steganography, a method employed to conceal data within various carrier objects such as text, can be proposed to address these security challenges. Text, owing to its extensive usage and constrained bandwidth, stands out as an optimal medium for this purpose. Despite the richness of the Arabic language in its linguistic features, only a small number of studies have explored Arabic text steganography. Arabic text, characterized by its distinctive script and linguistic features, has gained notable attention as a promising domain for steganographic ventures. Arabic text steganography harn

Moreover we investigate the relation of monomial groups and solvable groups. Many applications have been given the symbol G e.g. group of order 297 is an M-group and solvable. For any group G, the factor group G/G? (G? is the derived subgroup of G) is an M-group in particular if G = Sn, SL(4,R).
