The effects of poles distances of a discharge tube (cathode and anode) were investigated. The distances(90,95,100,110,115,120,130,140)mm are considered. The influence of (25mT) parallel and (2mT) normal magnetic fields with respect to the discharge tube on electron temperature under a pressure of (6pascal) and (900volt) was studied by implementing double Langmuire probe into plasma. Curves fitting were performed to find the optimum values of electron temperature for all cases in this work.We found that the electron temperature as a function of poles distances is exponential form
The charge species plays a vital role in changing the field in direct current discharge (DC). This article introduces a numerical modeling in one dimension of the inner electrode diameter of oxygen-fed negative corona discharge in coaxial electrodes geometry. The properties of negative corona plasma in a concentric cylindrical electrodes (wire-cylinder) were simulated by COMSOL Multiphysics software. Various diameters of negative corona electrode, namely 0.01, 0.025, 0.05, 0.075, and 0.125 mm, were applied, where the diameter of the outer cylindrical electrode was taken as 15 mm. The model was run at atmospheric pressure and the applied negative voltage was
-10 KV. Moreover, oxygen gas was used to fill the inter-electrodes dist
In this research calculate the ecliptic and equatorial coordinates for the Moon , Sun and Jupiter through 100 years and calculate the distances between the Moon and the Earth , the Sun and the Earth , Jupiter and the Sun, Jupiter and the Earth . From Calculation and discussion the changes in the equatorial coordinate were: Δ , Δ δJ = (22.73+21.93, 23.28+22.99) , and the maximum values and minimum values for the Moon were: Rm(min) = 0.00239,0.00240 and Rm(max) = 0.0027,0.00272 , and Jupiter RJ(min) = 4.99077,4.99966 and RJ(min) = 5.44469,5.45057 , and the periods change preface to calculate the conjunction of the Moon and Jupiter.
The dispersion relation of linear quantum ion acoustic waves is derivate according to a fluid approach that depends on the kinetic description of the systems of charged particles model. We discussed the dispersion relation by changing its parameters and graphically represented. We found through graphs that there is full agreement with previous studies on the subject of interest. That motivates us to discuss the dispersion relation of waves depending on the original basic parameters that implicitly involved in the relationship which change the relationship by one way or another, such as electron Fermi temperature and the density at equilibrium state.
In this research, the effect of electrode material on the parameters of the produced DBD plasma was investigated. First, a non-thermal plasma was created by applying a 15 kV AC voltage between two electrodes and using a glass plate as a dielectric barrier in the design Dielectric Barrier Discharge (DBD) plasma system. The obtained plasma spectrum was analyzed using optical emission spectroscopy to calculate plasma parameters by the Boltzmann plot method. Electrodes made of copper, aluminium, and stainless steel were employed in this research. Electron temperature ( ) for copper, aluminium, and stainless steel was found to be (1.398 eV), (1.093 eV) and (1.009 eV), respectively.
In this work, the mathematical modelling of peristaltic transport for incompressible Sutterby fluid through the cavity between coaxial tubes where the inner tube is fixed and the outer tube has sinusoidal rhythmic fluctuations along the channel’s walls is presented. Under the assumption of long wavelength and the low Reynolds number, the governing equations (motion, temperature, and concentration) are illustrated in cylindrical coordinates. The analytical solution for the temperature and concentration of the fluid flow is obtained using Mathematica 11.3, whereas the perturbation technique is employed to find the closed form of the velocity profile. The variation of the axial velocity, stream function, temperat
... Show MoreIn this research, the electrical characteristics of glow discharge plasma were studied. Glow discharge plasma generated in a home-made DC magnetron sputtering system, and a DC-power supply of high voltage as input to the discharge electrodes were both utilized. The distance between two electrodes is 4cm. The gas used to produce plasma is argon gas which flows inside the chamber at a rate of 40 sccm. The influence of work function for different target materials (gold, copper, and silver), - 5cm in diameter and around 1mm thickness - different working pressures, and different applied voltages on electrical characteristics (discharge current, discharge potential, and Paschen’s curve) were studied. The results showed that the discharge cur

The objective of this work was to determine and compare the physiological changes in some: blood components (packed cell volume and hemoglobin) and plasma biochemical parameters (glucose, total protein, albumin, cholesterol and triglycerides) under 3 day of different types of stress: water deprivation, starvation, overcrowding and handling stress. Twenty five male Wister rats weighted 100-120 gm, were divided randomly into five groups: control, water deprivation, starvation, overcrowding and handling stress. On the third day of stress the animals anesthetized for blood collection; the results of blood component revealed a significant increase in PCV and a significant decrease in Hb of water deprivation group and starva

Creatine levels in the blood, as well as pH and trace elements, were measured before and after (1, 2) months of plasma exposure in both gender (men and women) between the ages of 22 and 25 years. Nails are exposed to cold plasma with a voltage of (175 volts) and (2 gas flow). After one month of exposure, there was no significant change in the levels of all parameters, but after 2 months, the concentration of creatine and pH had reached a near- neutral value. In both men and women, calcium concentration increased and showed a positive response to cold plasma, while the v
