The Effect of the Poles Distances on Plasma Characteristic of Discharge Tube

     The effects of poles distances of a discharge tube (cathode and anode) were investigated. The distances(90,95,100,110,115,120,130,140)mm are considered. The influence of (25mT) parallel and (2mT) normal magnetic fields with respect to the discharge tube on electron temperature under a pressure of (6pascal) and (900volt) was studied by implementing double Langmuire probe into plasma. Curves fitting were performed to find the optimum values of electron temperature for all cases in this work.We found that the electron temperature as a function of poles distances is exponential form

Effect of plasma treatment on the bond of soft denture liner to conventional and high impact acrylic denture materials

Influence of Fe2O3 Dust Particles on the Plasma Characteristics of D.C Sputtering System

    This work is an experimental study conducted to study the effects of iron oxide dust particles (Fe2O3) on the characteristics of DC discharge plasma in argon gas under vacuum. Electron temperature ( ) and electron density (ne) were calculated by Boltzmann plots and Stark broadening, respectively. The results show that both the electron density and plasma frequency ( ) increased with the operating pressure. While,  and Debye length ( ) decreased with pressure. The glow discharge is more stable with the Fe2O3-dust particles; all dust plasma parameters have lower values  than those of the dust-free plasma.

Effect of capillary tube on structural and Optical Properties of SnO2 Thin Films Prepared by APCVD

Our study focus on prepare SnO2 films by using capillary tube as deposition nozzle and the effect of these tubes on the structural properties and optical properties of the prepared samples. Comparison Study of Plasma-Activated Water and Plasma Jet Effects on Escherichia coli Bacteria for the Disinfection of Tooth Root Canal

This study compares the effects of plasma jet and plasma-activated water on teeth root canals contaminated with Escherichia coli bacteria. A plasma jet system was developed for biological purposes that operate at atmospheric pressure. The plasma jet works with argon gas and is generated by a power supply, which supplies a sinusoidal alternating voltage of 12 kV of 20 kHz frequency. Makeup water was subjected to lab-scale ion exchangers of two types: strong acid cation and weak base anion exchanger. The experimental investigation was directed to study the ion exchanger performance in terms of four different parameters (i.e., copper concentration, total dissolved solids (TDS), feed rate and bed depth).
