The seasonal variation of two groups of Zooplankton were studied in Diyala river and two branches , about 30Km from Diyala dam It was found that there are differences in the distribution of the two groups . Atotal of six species were identified of Copepoda in Diyala river and its two branches . The species are Cyclops vernalis . C . visinus , C . dimorphus , Mesocyclops laukartu ,Paracyclops affinis and Diaptomus reighardi , where recorded high annual density in Khalis stream . Its annual density was between 0.55 – 20.66 Ind . / L. Wheras, Cladocera group 14 species were identified . and the most disturbance species were Bosmina longirostris , B . corigoni , Moina micrura , Alonella excise , Leptodra kiniditii . However , the annual density was ranged between 1.68 – 29.38 Ind . / L, and the highest annual density for Bosmina longirostris was 29.38 Ind . / L . in Diyala river b
Intestinal parasites present in freshwater from the Al- Fallujah, Al- Habbaniyah and Al-Alwarar, of the Euphrates river in Iraq are Cryptosporidium spp (25.3%), Giardia sp (3.3%), Eimeria sp (3.3%), Pinworm eggs (3.3%), Naegleria sp (15.3%), Lecane niwati (1.3%), Trichomonas hominis (19.3%), Acanthamoeba spp (24.6%), Entamoeba coli (20.6%), Balantidium coli (12%), Ascaris sp (3.3%), Volvox sp (26%), Chilomastix mesnili (4%), Pelomyxa palustris (2.6%), Trinema enchelys (2.6%), Actinophrys Sol (7.3%), Amobea Vespertilio (9.3%), Rhabditea (5.3%), paramecium bursaria (9.3%), cyst of cestode (6%), Oocyst protozoa (16%), Euglena gracilis (10.6%).were isolated. The nuclear structure included the matter, proton and neutron densities of the ground state, the nuclear root-mean-square (rms) radii and elastic form factors of one neutron 23O and 24F halo nuclei have been studied by the two body model of within the harmonic oscillator (HO) and Woods-Saxon (WS) radial wave functions. The calculated results show that the two body model within the HO and WS radial wave functions succeed in reproducing neutron halo in these exotic nuclei. Moreover, the Glauber model at high energy has been used to calculated the rms radii and reaction cross section of these nuclei.
