مرّ المصطلح النحوي بمراحل حتى أصبح مصطلحا ثابتا يحمل المفاهيم النحوية ، ويتخذ وسيلة من وسائل البحث المنظم ، ويمثل كتاب الايضاح في علل النحو لأبي القاسم الزجّاجي (ت 337هـ ) الذي نتناوله بالبحث عن الجوانب المصطلحية مرحلة من البحث النحوي ، ترسّخت فيه الأصول النحويّة وانمازت الأبواب ، فضلاُ عن المصطلح الذي بدأ مستقراُ في أغلب استعمالاته العلميّة.

   لقد شرع الله تعالى لعباده من الأحكام ما تصلُح به حالهم، وتطمئن به قلوبهم، وتقر به أعينهم، وتحقيق السعادة لهم في الحال والمآل ،إن هم التزموا هذه الأحكام، وسلكوا طريق الحق، واتبعوا منهج الله تعالى، وإن مما شرعه الله تعالى من الأحكام لإسعاد العباد هو الزواج تلبية لحاجاتهم الإنسانية واستمرارا للبشرية، وقد جعله الله تعالى من آياته الدالة على قدرته، ورحمته، وحكمته، فقال تعالى: )
