Background: A major difference between the treatment of the skin lesions and the odontogenic and non-odontogenic sinuses. We aimed to analyze a substantial number of consecutive causes in order to clinical suspicion in the differential diagnoses may be correctly weighted. Materials and methods: The material of this research consisted of 40 patients. A complete history is collected from the patients with the duration and the site of the sinus present, the patient was examined for factors of the fistulas and sinuses and its associations, and patient having any concomitant lesions, a medical consultation done for opinion and management. Clinical examination with facial fistulas and sinuses was mandatory to avoid any mistakes that may occur. A treatment plan was contemplated regarding a conservative line will be followed or a surgical intervention was indicated results. Results: The common etiological causes: congenital and acquired causes. Fifteen patients have eighteen facial sinuses and fistulas (40.9%) developed because of non-odontogenic infections, fifteen patients had fifteen facial sinuses (34%) because of odontogenic infections, four congenital sinuses (9%) developed at three patients, two patients with two facial sinuses (4.5%) due to tumor growth, three patients with three facial fistulas (6.8%) due to traumatic causes and one patient with one facial sinus (2.2%) because of Actinomycosis and unknown cause for each. Conclusions: The maxillofacial surgeon should be aware of causes of whether developmental anomalies, deep seated infections, epithelization of the tract, insufficient or inadequate drainage, deep lining foreign bodies and certain types of infections.
Praise be to God, Lord of the worlds, and the best of prayers. He has completed the delivery of our master Muhammad, his family, and all his companions. O God, bring us out from the darkness of illusion, honor us with the light of understanding, open us with knowledge of knowledge, facilitate our morals with dreams, and make us who listen to the saying and follow their best.

Classical laminated plate theory is adopted. The static component of the applied in- plane loading are assumed to vary according to uniform, parabolic or linear distributions. Initially, the plate membrane problem is solved using the Ritz method; subsequently, using Hamilton’s variational principle, linear homogeneous algebraic equations in terms of unknown are generated, the set of linear algebraic equations can be solved as an Eigen-value problem. Vanadium dioxide nanofilms are one of the most essential materials in electronic applications like smart windows. Therefore, studying and understanding the optical properties of such films is crucial to modify the parameters that control these properties. To this end, this work focuses on investigating the opacity as a function of the energy directed at the nanofilms with different thicknesses(1–100) nm. Effective mediator theories(EMTs), which are considered as the application of Bruggeman’s formalism and the Looyenga mixing rule, have been used to estimate the dielectric constant of VO2 nanofilms. The results show different opacity behaviors at different wavelength ranges(ultraviolet, visible, and infrared). The results depict that th

Activated carbon loading with metals oxides is new adsorbents and catalyst, which seem very promising for desulfurization process. The present study deals with the preparation of three metals oxides loaded on activated carbon (AC). The tri composite of ZnO/NiO/CoO/AC was characterized by X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), X-Ray florescence (XRF), N2 adsorption for BET surface area, pore volume and Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM). The effect of calcination temperature is investigated. The best calcination temperature is 250oC based on the presence of phase, low weight loss and keep at high surface area. The surface area and pore volume of prepared tri composite are 932.97m2/g and 0.6031cm3/g respec

The expansion in water projects implementations in Turkey and Syria becomes of great concern to the workers in the field of water resources management in Iraq. Such expansion with the absence of bi-lateral agreement between the three riparian countries of Tigris and Euphrates Rivers; Turkey, Syria and Iraq, is expected to lead to a substantially reduction of water inflow to the territories of Iraq. Accordingly, this study consists of two parts: first part is aiming to study the changes of the water inflow to the territory of Iraq, at Turkey and Syria borders, from 1953 to 2009; the results indicated that the annual mean inflow in Tigris River was decreased from 677 m3/sec to 526 m3/sec, after operating Turkey reserv

However, reductions in the cost of electro-optic components and improvements in the handling of fiber optics now make FTTH a cost effective solution in many situations. The transition to FTTH in the access network is also a benefit for both consumers and service providers because it opens up the near limitless capacity of the core long-haul network to the local user. In this paper individual passive optical components, transceivers, and fibers has been put together to form a complete FTTH network. Then the implementation of the under construction Baghdad/Al
