Due to its central nervous system (CNS) stimulant properties and structural similarity to amphe­tamine, it is also used for non-medical purposes such as doping agent, to increase focus, and as a substance that gets rid of exhaustion and drowsiness. This study has been done by recording the absorption and transmission spectra in the wavelength range (200-900)nm . The results  showed that all  optical parameters are increased by increasing dopping rate except the transmission was decreased.
