The study aimed to examine the anti-inflammatory effect of fimasartan in egg albumin-induced inflammation in rats. Rats were treated with diclofenac (25 mg/kg, intraperitoneally) or fimasartan at two different doses (3 or 10 mg/kg, intraperitoneally). The increase in the thickness of the paw was considered to be edema, which was measured using a vernier caliper. The objective of this in vivo study is to investigate the effects of 337.1 nm pulsed N2 laser on cellular immune response represented by lymphocyte transformation capacity and phagocytosis activity in laboratory animals. The samples include 60 adult male BALB/c mice, were divided into control group and experimental groups. Seventy exudative lymphocytic pleural fluid specimens of patients with suspected tuberculous pleural effusion submitted to the National Reference Laboratory of tuberculosis/Baghdad from October 2012 to February 2013. These effusions were due to tuberculosis pleuritis (n=12) and non-tuberculosis pleuritis (n=58). The following parameters were analyzed: protein concentration, glucose concentration, lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) concentration and adenosine deaminase activity (ADA). Steganography is one of the most popular techniques for data hiding in the different media such as images, audio or video files. This paper introduced the improved technique to hide the secret message using the LSB algorithm inside the RGB true color image by encrypting it using the secret key transformation function. The key is selecting randomly in the GF (2n) with condition it has an inverse value to retrieve the encrypted message. Only two bits are used for the low byte in each pixel (the blue byte) to hide the secret message, since the blue color has a weak effect on human eyes. The message hidden by the suggested algorithm is less vulnerable to be stolen than other similar applications.
