The Dynamics of a Food Web System: Role of a Prey Refuge Depending on Both Species
...Show More Authors

This paper aims to study the role of a prey refuge that depends on both prey and predator species on the dynamics of a food web model. It is assumed that the food transfer among the web levels occurs according to Lotka-Volterra functional response. The solution properties, such as existence, uniqueness, and uniform boundedness, are discussed. The local, as well as the global, stabilities of the solution of the system are investigated. The persistence of the system is studied with the assistance of average Lyapunov function. The local bifurcation conditions that may occur near the equilibrium points are established. Finally, numerical simulation is used to confirm our obtained results. It is observed that the system has only one type of attractors that is a stable point, while periodic dynamics do not exist even on the boundary planes.

A Mathematical Modelling of a Plant-Herbivore Community with Additional Effects of Food on the Environment
...Show More Authors

By taking into account various food components in the ecosystem, the research intends to develop a set of difference equations to simulate a plant-herbivore interaction of Holling Type II. We determine the local stability of the equilibrium points for the scenarios of extinction, semi-extinction (extinction for one species), and coexistence using the Linearized Stability Theorem. For a suitable Lyapunov function, we investigate theoretical findings to determine the global stability of the coexisting equilibrium point. It is clear that the system exhibits both Flip and Neimark-Sacker bifurcation under particular circumstances using the central manifold theorem and the bifurcation theory. Numerical simulations are

Dynamics and an Optimal Policy for A Discrete Time System with Ricker Growth
...Show More Authors

The goal of this paper is to study dynamic behavior of a sporadic model (prey-predator). All fixed points of the model are found. We set the conditions that required to investigate the local stability of all fixed points. The model is extended to an optimal control model. The Pontryagin's maximum principle is used to achieve the optimal solutions. Finally, numerical simulations have been applied to confirm the theoretical results.

The dynamics of two harmful phytoplankton and herbivorous zooplankton system
...Show More Authors

In this paper, a mathematical model consisting of the two harmful
phytoplankton interacting with a herbivorous zooplankton is proposed and studied.
The existence of all possible equilibrium points is carried out. The dynamical
behaviors of the model system around biologically feasible equilibrium points are
studied. Suitable Lyapunov functions are used to construct the basins of attractions
of those points. Conditions for which the proposed model persists are established.
The occurrence of local bifurcation and a Hopf bifurcation are investigated. Finally,
to confirm our obtained analytical results and specify the vital parameters, numerical
simulations are used for a hypothetical set of parameter values.

Crawling and Mining the Dark Web: A Survey on Existing and New Approaches
...Show More Authors

The last two decades have seen a marked increase in the illegal activities on the Dark Web. Prompt evolvement and use of sophisticated protocols make it difficult for security agencies to identify and investigate these activities by conventional methods. Moreover, tracing criminals and terrorists poses a great challenge keeping in mind that cybercrimes are no less serious than real life crimes. At the same time, computer security societies and law enforcement pay a great deal of attention on detecting and monitoring illegal sites on the Dark Web. Retrieval of relevant information is not an easy task because of vastness and ever-changing nature of the Dark Web; as a result, web crawlers play a vital role in achieving this task. The

Chaos in a harvested prey-predator model with infectious disease in the prey
...Show More Authors

A harvested prey-predator model with infectious disease in preyis investigated. It is assumed that the predator feeds on the infected prey only according to Holling type-II functional response. The existence, uniqueness and boundedness of the solution of the model are investigated. The local stability analysis of the harvested prey-predator model is carried out. The necessary and sufficient conditions for the persistence of the model are also obtained. Finally, the global dynamics of this model is investigated analytically as well as numerically. It is observed that, the model have different types of dynamical behaviors including chaos.

On The Dynamical Behavior of a Prey-Predator Model With The Effect of Periodic Forcing
...Show More Authors

The dynamical behavior of a two-dimensional continuous time dynamical system describing by a prey predator model is investigated. By means of constructing suitable Lyapunov functional, sufficient condition is derived for the global asymptotic stability of the positive equilibrium of the system. The Hopf bifurcation analysis is carried out. The numerical simulations are used to study the effect of periodic forcing in two different parameters. The results of simulations show that the model under the effects of periodic forcing in two different parameters, with or without phase difference, could exhibit chaotic dynamics for realistic and biologically feasible parametric values.

The Design and Simulation of a Novel Optical Adder Depending on Optical Tri-state Gates
...Show More Authors

Essential approaches involving photons are among the most common uses of parallel optical computation due to their recent invention, ease of production, and low cost. As a result, most researchers have concentrated their efforts on it. The Basic Arithmetic Unit BAU is built using a three-step approach that uses optical gates with three states to configure the circuitry for addition, subtraction, and multiplication. This is a new optical computing method based on the usage of a radix of (2): a binary number with a signed-digit (BSD) system that includes the numbers -1, 0, and 1. Light with horizontal polarization (LHP) (↔), light with no intensity (LNI) (⥀), and light with vertical polarization (LVP) (↨) is represen
