Simple and sensitive batch and flow injection methods (normal and reverse flow injection analysis (nFIA and rFIA)) for spectrophotometric determination of vancomycin hydrochloride (VHC) in pharmaceutical preparations were proposed and optimized. Both methods are based on the oxidative - coupling reaction between vancomycin hydrochloride and 2,4-Dinitrophenylhydrazine (DNPH) in the presence of sodium periodate in alkaline medium to form a yellow water-soluble product that is stable and has a maximum absorption at 461 nm. Beer’s law was obeyed over the range of 1- 40, 0.5-120 and 0.5-150 μg.mL-1; the limits of detection were 0.537, 0.0823 and 0.233 μg.mL-1 for batch, normal and reverse flow injection methods respectively. The sampling rates were 124 and 120 injections per hour for normal and reverse flow injection methods respectively. The effects of chemical and physical parameters have been carefully considered and the proposed procedures were successfully applied to the determination of vancomycin hydrochloride in pharmaceutical preparations
The study conducted to demonstrate the effect of copper nanoparticles (Cu-NPs) on the seminal vesicle and testosterone hormone of males' albino mice. Twenty mice were used and divided into four groups control group and three groups that orally administrated with 100 mg/kg Cu-NPs for 7, 14 and 21 days and each group have 5 animals. This tornado occurred on 10:30 UTC (1:30 pm Iraq Local Time) on 14 April 2016 to the north of Kahlaa town in Maysan governorate. We analyzed surface and upper charts, weather conditions, the damage indices, the dynamical features and the instability of the tornado. The analysis showed that there was a low pressure system which was an extension of the Monsoon low in addition to a supercell thunderstorm and a jet stream aloft. Methotrexate (MTX) was used for treatment of malignancies and now is widely used in treatment of rheumatoid arthritis. In this research the evaluation of the effects of MTX on some liver enzymes and lipid profile was studied. Twenty four adult female mice divided into three groups (8 mice each). The first two groups were treated with MTX while the third group was used as a control. In this study, phytoplankton density, chlorophyll-a, and selected physico- chemical parameters were investigated in Erbil wastewater channel. The surveys were carried out monthly from May 2003 to April 2004. Samplings were established on three sites from headwaters to the mouth. The results showed that pH was in alkaline side of neutrality, with significant differences (P<0.05) between sites 1 and 3. TSS concentration decreased from site 1 toward site 2 (mean value, 80.15 to 25.79 mg.l-1).
