Abstract. The minimal or maximal topological space is one of the topological spaces that we will employ in fibrewise locally sliceable and fibrewise locally sectionable. Now in this research I relied on some definitions specific to the research fibrewise maximal and minimal topological spaces. We will define a fibrewise locally minimal sliceable, fibrewise locally maximal sliceable, fibrewise locally minimal sectionable and fibrewise locally maximal sectionable, and I also clarified some examples of them and used them in characteristics by also clarifying them in diagrams.

Five heavy metals, namely Cd, Cu, Fe, Mn, and Pb in the surface water and through the water column were studied at 10 selected stations in the Razzazah lake and Karbala drainage canal for the period between November 1990 to October 1991*. pH and total hardness were also measured. Lead was found to be the highest in concentration as overall average values, followed by an manganese, iron, copper then cadmium at the surface as well as along the water column. All the studied metals were below or close to the maximum allowed limits of Iraqi standards for inland water. The spatial and seasonal variations were discussed.

Highway embankments stability during its service period represents an important factor for the safety of highway users and vehicles. The Inhbititory effect of cocentrated and non-cocentrated supernatant of the probiotic Lactobacillus salivarius against growth of some potential pathogenic microorganisms which included Pseudomonas eruginosa, Klebsiella spp, Escherichia coli and Candida albicans. The results were diffusion assay revealed that concentrated and non-concentrated supernatant had inhitory effect against pathogenic bacteria with inhibition zone renged between 13-17mm while inhibition effect of concentrated supernatant against C.albicans was inhibition zone 8mm.
