In this work , the ligand [N-(4-Methoxybenzoyl amino)-thioxomethyl] Methionine acid  has been synthesized by the reaction of 4- Methoxybenzoyl isothiocyanate with methionine acid . The metal complexes were prepared through the reaction of metals chlorides of Co(II) , Ni(II), Cu(II), Zn(II) and Cd(II) in ethanol as solvent . The ligand (MbM) and its metal complexes have been characterized by elemental analysis (CHNS), IR, 1H-13CNMR and UV- Vis spectra, magnetic susceptibility measurements, molar conductivity, melting points and atomic absorption. The metal-ligand ratio was determined by mole ratio method. The suggested structures for the Co(II), Ni(II), Cd(II) and Zn(II) complexes are tetrahedral geometry and  the Cu(II) complex

Objective : Sciatic nerve block (popliteal approach) and femoral N block is a new technique other than general anesthesia in below knee surgery because it provides adequate muscle relaxation, with good intraoperative and post-operative analgesia. Nefopam is non opioid, non-respiratory depressant and non-sedative was mixed with local anesthetics drug to study the effects. Background: Population studies suggest that 3–8% of asymptomatic adults have thyroid nodules. Nodules have a 5–15% prevalence of malignancy. Fine-needle aspiration cytology is the primary and frequently initial tool for assessing the risk of malignancy in thyroid nodules and selecting patients for thyroid surgery.
Patients and Methods: This prospective study was done during the period from June 2007 to November 2008. The study includes 141 patients with palpable solitary or multiple thyroid nodules. Only patients with normal or low TSH values were referred for ultrasound examination and ultrasound guided FNAC, which were done using fine needles (G 20).

Asthma is a chronic respiratory disease highly prevalent worldwide. Recent studies have suggested a role for microbiome-associated gut–lung axis in asthma development. In the current study, we investigated if Resveratrol (RES), a plant-based polyphenol, can attenuate ovalbumin (OVA)-induced murine allergic asthma, and if so, the role of microbiome in the gut–lung axis in this process. We found that RES attenuated allergic asthma with significant improvements in pulmonary functions in OVA-exposed mice when tested using plethysmography for frequency (F), mean volume (MV), specific airway resistance (sRaw), and delay time(dT).
