Square root of fuzzy QS-ideals on QS-algebras
...Show More Authors

In real-life problems, we use square roots in natural distributions such as (the probability density function), distances and lengths in the Pythagorean theorem, and quadratic formulas in (the height of falling objects), radius of circles, harmonic movements (pendulum and springs), and standard deviation in statistics. We have observed that using fuzzy sets in real-life problems is more convenient than ordinary sets. Therefore, they are important in algebraic structures. As a result, more effort has been made to study square root structures in fuzzy sets. This paper introduces the notion of square roots fuzzy of QS-ideals on QS-algebras and some important characteristics. Some illustrative examples have been provided which prove that every SRF-BCK-ideal is an SRF QS-ideal. Also, the image and the inverse image of SRF-QS-ideals are discussed.  Finally, the product of SRF-QS-ideals on QS-algebra is defined and some important properties have been proved.

Pairwise Lower Separation Axioms in C ̌ech Fuzzy Soft Bi-Closure Spaces
...Show More Authors

The idea of ech fuzzy soft bi-closure space ( bicsp) is a new one, and its basic features are defined and studied in [1]. In this paper, separation axioms, namely pairwise, , pairwise semi-(respectively, pairwise pseudo and pairwise Uryshon) - fs bicsp's are introduced and studied in both ech fuzzy soft bi-closure space and their induced fuzzy soft bitopological spaces. It is shown that hereditary property is satisfied for , with respect to ech fuzzy soft bi-closure space but for other mentioned types of separations axioms, hereditary property satisfies for closed subspaces of ech fuzzy soft bi-closure space.

 Abstract

An experimental study was conducted for measuring the quality of surface finishing roughness using magnetic abrasive finishing technique (MAF) on brass plate which is very difficult to be polish by a conventional machining process where the cost is high and much more susceptible to surface damage as compared to other materials. Four operation parameters were studied, the gap between the work piece and the electromagnetic inductor, the current that generate the flux, the rotational Spindale speed and amount of abrasive powder size considering constant linear feed movement between machine head and workpiece. Adaptive Neuro fuzzy inference system  (ANFIS) was implemented for evaluation of a serie

Optimal Hybrid Fuzzy PID for Pitch Angle Controller in Horizontal AxisWind Turbines
...Show More Authors

Wind turbine (WT) is now a major renewable energy resource used in the modern world. One of the most significant technologies that use the wind speed (WS) to generate electric power is the horizontal-axis wind turbine. In order to enhance the output power over the rated WS, the blade pitch angle (BPA) is controlled and adjusted in WT. This paper proposes and compares three different controllers of BPA for a 500-kw WT. A PID controller (PIDC), a fuzzy logic controller (FLC) based on Mamdani and Sugeno fuzzy inference systems (FIS), and a hybrid fuzzy-PID controller (HFPIDC) have been applied and compared. Furthermore, Genetic Algorithm (GA) and Particle swarm optimization (PSO) have been applied and compared in order to identify the

Abstract<p>Measurement of construction performance is essential to a clear image of the present situation. This monitoring by the management team is necessary to identify locations where performance is exceptionally excellent or poor and to identify the primary reasons so that the lessons gained may be exported to the firm and its progress strengthened. This research attempts to construct an integrated mathematical model utilizing one of the recent methodologies for dealing with the fuzzy representation of experts’ knowledge and judgment considering hesitancy called spherical fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (SFAHP) method to assess the contractor’s performance per the project performance pa</p> ... An Efficient Algorithm for Fuzzy Linear Fractional Programming Problems via Ranking Function
...Show More Authors

In many applications such as production, planning, the decision maker is important in optimizing an objective function that has fuzzy ratio two functions which can be handed using fuzzy fractional programming problem technique. A special class of optimization technique named fuzzy fractional programming problem is considered in this work when the coefficients of objective function are fuzzy. New ranking function is proposed and used to convert the data of the fuzzy fractional programming problem from fuzzy number to crisp number so that the shortcoming when treating the original fuzzy problem can be avoided. Here a novel ranking function approach of ordinary fuzzy numbers is adopted for ranking of triangular fuzzy numbers with simpler an

A MODIFIED FUZZY MULTI-OBJECTIVE LINEAR PROGRAMMING TO SOLVE AGGREGATE PRODUCTION PLANNING
...Show More Authors

This paper develops a fuzzy multi-objective model for solving aggregate production planning problems that contain multiple products and multiple periods in uncertain environments. We seek to minimize total production cost and total labor cost. We adopted a new method that utilizes a Zimmermans approach to determine the tolerance and aspiration levels. The actual performance of an industrial company was used to prove the feasibility of the proposed model. The proposed model shows that the method is useful, generalizable, and can be applied to APP problems with other parameters.

Experimental Study For a Laminar Natural Convection Heat Transfer From an Isothermal Heated Square Plate With and Without Circular Hole
...Show More Authors

An experimental investigation of natural convection heat transfer from an isothermal horizontal, vertical and inclined heated square flat plates with and without circular hole, were carried out in two cases, perforated plates without an impermeable adiabatic hole "open core" and perforated plates with an impermeable adiabatic hole "closed core" by adiabatic plug. The experiments covered the laminar region with a range of Rayleih number of (1.11x106 ≤RaLo≤4.39x106 ), at Prandtle number (Pr=0.7). Practical experiments have been done with variable inclination angles from horizon (Ф=0o ,45o,90o,135oand 180o),facing upward (0o≤Ф<90o), and downward (90o
≤Ф<180o). The results showed that the temperature gradient increases whi
