THE DYNAMICS OF A STAGE-STRUCTURE PREY-PREDATOR MODEL WITH HUNTING COOPERATION AND ANTI-PREDATOR BEHAVIOR
...Show More Authors

The mathematical construction of an ecological model with a prey-predator relationship was done. It presumed that the prey consisted of a stage structure of juveniles and adults. While the adult prey species had the power to fight off the predator, the predator, and juvenile prey worked together to hunt them. Additionally, the effect of the harvest was considered on the prey. All the solution’s properties were discussed. All potential equilibrium points' local stability was tested. The prerequisites for persistence were established. Global stability was investigated using Lyapunov methods. It was found that the system underwent a saddle-node bifurcation near the coexistence equilibrium point while exhibiting a transcritical bifurcation near the vanishing and predator-free equilibrium points. The analytical results are then validated using a numerical approach. It is discovered that the cooperative hunting rate and conversion rate persistently affect the system. In contrast, the anti-predator rate leads to the extinction of the predator.

Minimum spanning tree application in Covid-19 network structure analysis in the countries of the Middle East
...Show More Authors

Coronavirus disease (Covid-19) has threatened human life, so it has become necessary to study this disease from many aspects. This study aims to identify the nature of the effect of interdependence between these countries and the impact of each other on each other by designating these countries as heads for the proposed graph and measuring the distance between them using the ultrametric spanning tree. In this paper, a network of countries in the Middle East is described using the tools of graph theory.

The Promising Anti-Tumor Impact of Newcastle Disease Virus Expressing IL-2 and P53 Genes in Many Cancer Cell Lines In vitro
...Show More Authors

Abstract: Recombinant Newcastle disease virus (rNDV) has shown an anticancer effect in preclinical studies, but has never been tested in a lung cancer models. In this study we explored the anticancer activity of genetically modified NDV expressing IL-2-P53 (rClone30–IL-2-P53) in lung cancer model. We have cloned IL-2 and P53 genes and inserted them in the viral genome of New Castle Disease Virus to create a genetically modified rNDV- IL-2-P53 virus and tested the anti-tumor activity of the new virus in vitro on different types of cancer cell lines by MTT assay. TheIL-2 and P53 gene were successfully cloned and inserted into the viral genome by using a Mlu I and Sfi I endonucleases, viral vector was constructed correctly and successf

Frequency Dependence of AC Resistivity and Dielectric Behavior of Lithium-Manganese Soft Ferrites
...Show More Authors

Lithium–Manganese ferrites having the chemical formula (Li0.5-0.5x Mnx Fe2.5-0.5x O4), (0 ≤ x ≤ 1) were prepared by double sintering powder processing. The density of the ferrite increased with Mn content while the porosity was noticed to decrease. The dielectric constant was found to increase at high frequencies more rapidly than the low ones. The dielectric constant found to decrease with Mn content. The decrease in loss factor with frequency agreed with Deby’s type relaxation process. A maximum of dielectric loss factor was observed when the hopping frequency is equal to the external electric field frequency. Manganese substitution reduced the dielectric loss in ferrite. The variation of tanδ with frequency shows a similar na

Effects of Castor Oil Nanoemulsion Extracted by Hexane on the Fourth Larval stage of Culex quinquefsciatus from Al Hawizeh Marsh/Iraq, and Non- Targeted Organism
...Show More Authors

The current study aims to show the importance of plant products as mosquitocides against Culex quinquefasciatus. Castor oil Nanoemulsions were subedit in various ratios including castor oil, ethanol, tween 80, and deionized water by using ultrasonication. Thermodynamic, centrifugation, PH, assay which improved that the formula  of 10 ml  of castor  oil, ethanol  5ml, tween 80 (14 ml) and deionized water 71ml was more stable than other formulas. The stable formula of castor oil nanoemulsion was characterized by transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and dynamic light scattering (DLS). Nanoemulsion droplets were spherical in shape and were found to have a Z-average diameter of 87.4nm. A concentration of ca

Experimental and numerical investigation on the behavior of composite reinforced concrete columns encased by steel section and hybrid GFRP section
...Show More Authors

GFRP was employed in constructions as an alternative to steel, which has many advantages like lightweight, large tensile strength and resist corrosion. Existing researches are insufficient in studying the influence of hybrid reinforced concrete composite columns encased by GFRP I-section (RCCCEG) and I-section steel (RCCCES). In this study twenty one (RC) specimens of a cross-section of 130 mm × 160 mm, with different length (long 1600 mm and short 750 mm) were encased by using I-section (steel and GFRP) and tested under various loading (concentric, eccentric and flexural loads). The test was focused on the influence of many parameters; load-carrying capacity, mode of failure, deformation and drawing an interaction diagram (N-

This study sheds light on the structure of the phoneme composition of the verses describing the servants of the Most Merciful in Surat Al-Furqan, and on how its silences, voices, and syllables are distributed, questioning and talking to them about their condition, their aesthetics, and the accuracy of Quranic employment for them, stemming from the presence of a strong, inseparable bond, and a close relationship between the voice and meaning As (i.e. the voice) is the nerve of speech, forming the basic building blocks of speech through synergy of syllables and syllables with each other, creating an audio context with a rhythm that is parallel, expressive, and in harmony with the content, as the vocal context and the fabric based on it are

NEW DESCRIPTION OF THE LARVAL STAGE OF LATIPALPIS (PALPILATIS) JOHANIDESI NIEHUIS, 2002 (COLEOPTERA, BUPRESTIDAE) FROM ERBIL PROVINCE, KURDISTAN REGION, IRAQ
...Show More Authors

The present study introduced a new description of the last larval instar of the oak tree borer, Latipalpis johanidesi Niehuis, 2002 (Coleoptera, Buprestidae). The larval specimens were collected from the oak trees within the mountainous areas, Erbil governorate, Iraqi Kurdistan Region, during the beginning of April till the end of May 2019.

Schematic sketches were provided to illustrate unclear morphological features, and the results presented importance morphological evidence for confirming the identification of this species in the larval stage precisely.

Academic Boredom in the Light of some Variables of Academically Excellent Intermediate Stage Students: زهراء سعد العبودي , انتصار كمال العاني
...Show More Authors

Academic boredom is one of the most emotional problems that arouse an individual's fatigueness and lowers his interest. This is because of the environment's low efficiency and of spending long monotonous time. This state is characterized by having lack of interest, difficulties in concentration, and the desire to leave the class.  It is considered one of the most prominent forms of boredom widespread among students and the most severe and dangerous one that has negative effects and severe psychological and social problems. The current research aims to investigate a randomly selected sample of 335 students from the first and third grades at the directorates of education (Karkh and Rusafa) who suffers from academic boredom.
