In this study, a theoretical scenario has been used to calculate the electronic current in sensitizer N3 molecule contact to TiO2 semiconductor for electrons in functional solar cells. It is known to play an important role on the compute the eficiency of solar cell. Some parameters of electronic current such as the transition energy, driving force energy, barrier height coupling overlapping values are determined. Transition energy is a necessary parameter to calculate the electronic current in solar cell with using wide polarity solvents Acetic acid, 2-Methoxyethanol, 1-Butanol, Methyl alcohol, chloroform, N,N-Dimethylacetamide and Ethyl alcohol via the quantum donor-acceptor system. Here, we show the results of transition energy can be varied by varied the polarity of solvents due to dielectric constant and refractive index. However, the transition energy of N3/TiO2 system has slightly increasing with increasing dielectric constant and decrease refractive index. In general, the results of electronic current decreased with increased driving force as results to decrease chemical potential of N3 dye. The N3/ZnO device is shown higher current (3.247 to10.46) × 106 with Acetic acid and reach minimum with Methyl alcohol in range (1.689 to 5.443)× 106 when the driving energy minimum ΔE0 = 0.35 eV. (5.225 to 16.837) × 104 with 1-Butanol and reach minimum in range (0.952 to3.070 ) × 104 with chloroform while for drive energy (0.55 eV) the current decrease and reach maximum (8.528 to27.481) × 102 with Methyl alcoholsolvent and reach minimum(0.176 to 0.569 ) with chloroform solvents. Consequently, the TiO2 contact with N3 is given accept current results in room temperature with Acetic acid solvent in low drive energy and with 1-Butanol and Methyl alcoholsolvents at large drive energy.
Hsieh-Wildenthal (HW) and G-matrix PF1, (GXPF1) interactions for 40Ca and 48Ca, respectively. The 40Ca was considered to be consisted of 32S as a core and 1d3/21f7/2 subshells as a model space. The 48Ca was considered to be consisted of 40Ca as a core and 1f7/22p3/21f5/2 2p1/2 subshells as a model space. The obtained one body-density matrix elements (OBDME) for both interactions for the studied Coulomb transitions: For 40Ca, the three non-normal parity transitions (C3): , and and one C5 transitions, . For 48Ca, the two C2 transitions: and and one C4 transitions were used in parallel with the transformed harmonic-oscillator basis to compute charge density, elastic electron scattering differential cross-section and ela

The morphological, structural, and sensing properties of the prepared thin films were examined. Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM) analysis revealed that these films exhibit a consistent structure before and after doping. Initially, the roughness of these films was observed to increase upon the introduction of impurities (ZnO: MgO) x . This trend reversed at x = 0.20, where a decrease in roughness occurred. Interestin

One thin layer of ZnO nanoparticles is prepared by dip coating method followed by hydrothermally grown of ZnO nanoflowers at low temperature. The morphology and structure of ZnO-nanoflowers were inspected by field-emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM) and X-ray diffraction (XRD), respectively. The optical absorption and photoluminescence spectra of ZnO-nanoflowers are also investigated. The ZnO-nanoflowers photoanode sho
Drug resistance is a hot topic issue in cancer research and therapy. Although cancer therapy including radiotherapy and anti‐cancer drugs can kill malignant cells within the tumor, cancer cells can develop a wide range of mechanisms to resist the toxic effects of anti‐cancer agents. Cancer cells may provide some mechanisms to resist oxidative stress and escape from apoptosis and attack by the immune system. Furthermore, cancer cells may resist senescence, pyroptosis, ferroptosis, necroptosis, and autophagic cell death by modulating several critical genes. The development of these mechanisms leads to resistance to anti‐cancer drugs and also radiotherapy. Resistance to therapy can increase mortal
Mammalian cell culture refers to culturing mammalian cells in a medium that provide nutrients for cells to be able to grow in vitro under environment that closely mimic the in vivo conditions. By enabling culturing these cells outside living biological entities, investigation on intra- and intercellular activities and flux; genetic and phenotyping analysis; proteomics, study of toxicology, drug discovery and development can be carried out without manipulation of living animals. In this chapter, detail protocol of media preparation, cell culture maintenance and preservation are elaborated for both types of mammalian cell culture, monolayer or suspension cultures. Determination of number of cells is discussed as well.
In this paper, the solar surface magnetic flux transport has been simulated by solving the diffusion–advection equation utilizing numerical explicit and implicit methods in 2Dsurface. The simulation was used to study the effect of bipolar tilted angle on the solar flux distribution with time. The results show that the tilted angle controls the magnetic distribution location on the sun’s surface, especially if we know that the sun’s surface velocity distribution is a dependent location. Therefore, the tilted angle parameter has distribution influence.
Abstract
A new type of solar air heater was designed, fabricated, and tested in Baghdad, Iraq winter conditions. The heater consists of two main parts. The horizontal section was filled with the black colored iron chip while the vertical part has five pipes filled with Iraqi paraffin wax. A fan was fixed at the exit of the air. Two cases were studied: when the air moved by natural convection and when forced convection moved it. The studied air heater has proven its effectiveness as it heated the air passing through it to high temperatures. The results manifest that using little air movement makes the temperatures, stored energies, and efficiencies of the two studied cases converge
