New chemiluminometric method for the determination of azithromycin in a continuous flow injection analysis system

A novel analytical method is developed for the determination of azithromycin. The method utilizes continuous flow injection analysis to enhance the chemiluminescence system of luminol, H2O2, and Cr(III). The method demonstrated a linear dynamic range of 0.001–100 mmol L-1 with a high correlation coefficient (r) of 0.9978, and 0.001–150 mmol L-1 with a correlation coefficient (r) of 0.9769 for the chemiluminescence emission versus azithromycin concentration. The limit of detection (L.O.D.) of the method was found to be 18.725 ng.50 µL−1 based on the stepwise dilution method for the lowest concentration within the linear dynamic range of the calibration graph. The relative standard deviation (R.S.D. %) for n = 6 was less than 1.2%

Preparation of Some (Transition Metal-Flavylium Salt- Flavon) Complexes

Three ligands were prepared, spectroscopic method and elemental analysis verified their structures. The L1 and L2 ligands are flavylium salts while the third one L3 is a Flavon. The reactions between transition metal salts and the ligands have synthesized two groups of new metal complexes, one group contains L1, L3 coordinated with the metal ion. The other group contains L2, L3 and the metal. These complexes have been identified by available spectroscopic tools (UV-Visible and IR), the C.H.N results confirmed the proposed structures. Some Immunologic Evaluations of Toxoplasmosis in Iraqi Aborted Females

Forty-eight aborted women (Iraqi Arab Muslims) at the first trimester with a serological evidence of toxoplasmosis were investigated. Two age- and ethnic-matched control groups were included: 40 aborted women due to accidental events (Control I), and 40 unmarried (virgin) women (Control II). Some Theorems of Fixed Point Approximations By Iteration Processes

Abstract<p>The purpose of this paper, is to study different iterations algorithms types three_steps called, new iteration, <italic>M</italic> <sup>∗</sup> −iteration, <italic>k</italic> −iteration, and Noor-iteration, for approximation of fixed points. We show that the new iteration process is faster than the existing leading iteration processes like <italic>M</italic> <sup>∗</sup> −iteration, <italic>k</italic> −iteration, and Noor-iteration process, for like contraction mappings. We support our analytic proof with a numerical example.</p>
