Waters of some wells at Almuqdadea region Diyala province, east of Iraq have been
compared with wells at Alfalluja region, Alanbar province west of Iraq. Five wells were
selected randomly at each of the two regions to measure several factors represented by
temperature (C), P
H
, Electric Conductivity (EC), Sodium (Na),Calcium (Ca), Magnesium
(Mg),Total Hardness (TH), Carbonate (Co3),Chloride (Cl), Nitrite (NO2), Nitrate (NO3)
Phosphate (PO4) Sulfate (So4), in addition to the heavy metals such as Chromium (Cr),
Cadmium (Cd) Lead (Pb) & Iron (Fe). The mean concentration of the above factors in water
of wells at the above regions had been measured during the period from April to September
(2010).

The agricultural lands that depend on supplementary irrigation methods for winter wheat cultivating in wide areas of the Nineveh province are most vulnerable to climate change concerns. Due to frequent rainfall shortages and the temperature increase recently noticed and predicted by the climate scenarios. Hence important to assess the climate effect on the crop response in terms of water consumption during the periods (2021-2040) and (2041-2060) by using high-resolution data extracted from 6 global climate data GCMs under SSP5-8.5 fossil fuel emission scenarios in changing and fixed CO₂ concentration. And validate the Aqua-Crop model to estimate the yield and water productivity. And gives the RRSME of 7.1- 4.1

Abstract

This Research aims for harnessing critical and innovative thinking approaches besides innovative problem solving tools in pursuing continual quality improvement initiatives for the benefit of achieving operations results effectively in water treatment plants in Baghdad Water Authority. Case study has been used in fulfilling this research in the sadr city water treatment plant, which was chosen as a study sample as it facilitates describing and analyzing its current operational situation, collecting and analyzing its own data, in order to get its own desired improvement opportunity be done. Many statistical means and visual thinking promoting methods has been used to fulfill research task.

This research presents a new study in reactive distillation by adopting a consecutive reaction . The adopted consecutive reaction was the saponification reaction of diethyl adipate with NaOH solution. The saponification reaction occurs in two steps. The distillation process had the role of withdrawing the intermediate product i.e. monoethyl adipate from the reacting mixture before the second conversion to disodium adipate occurred. It was found that monoethyl adipate appeared successfully in the distillate liquid. The percentage conversion from di-ester to monoester was greatly enhanced (reaching 86%) relative to only 15.3% for the case of reaction without distillation .This means 5 times enhancement . This paper presents a proposed neural network algorithm to solve the shortest path problem (SPP) for communication routing. The solution extends the traditional recurrent Hopfield architecture introducing the optimal routing for any request by choosing single and multi link path node-to-node traffic to minimize the loss. This suggested neural network algorithm implemented by using 20-nodes network example. The result shows that a clear convergence can be achieved by 95% valid convergence (about 361 optimal routes from 380-pairs). Additionally computation performance is also mentioned at the expense of slightly worse results.

 This paper adapted the neural network for the estimating of the direction of arrival (DOA).
