Luffa aegyptiaca is a plant of multi-purpose importance whose usefulness cuts across virtually all areas of life. This study has characterized L. aegyptiaca in Lagos state and determined the mineral, proximate, phytochemical as well as the heavy metal accumulation potential. Understanding of in-situ stress profiles and orientations plays a vital role in designing a successful hydraulic fracturing treatment. This paper is an attempet to examine the effect of lithology and in situ stress on geometery of hydraulic fractures. A hydraulic fracturing design simulator software called FracproPT with various capabilities for designing most of hydraulic fracture was used for  simulate and optimize the hydraulic fracturing. For studying purpose,  three different cases of stress gradient contrast between different formations  are considered in this study (0.4, 0.5 and 0.75 psi/ft). The field of identification of similarity was considered a subject of research strongly recommended in the areas of semantic web, artificial intelligence and linguistic literature. In this paper a new similarity measure is proposed based on the Wu and Palmer measure. This measure is applied on the domain of the pedagogical ontology. Results obtained showed that the new measure gives better relevance of the similarity values compared to the approach of Wu and Palmer and it appears that the proposed measure is advantageous because obtained results showed that it is faster and capable of obtaining results to concepts not located in the same path.
