Influence of the annealing time on the structural properties for Flash evaporated InSb films
...Show More Authors

Indium Antimonide (InSb) thin films were grown onto well cleaned glass substrates at substrate temperatures (473 K) by flash evaporation. X-ray diffraction studies confirm the polycrystalline of the films and the films show preferential orientation along the (111) plane .The particle size increases with the increase of annealing time .The transmission spectra of prepared samples were found to be in the range (400-5000 cm-1 ) from FTIR study . This indicates that the crystallinity is improved in the films deposited at higher annealing time.

Structural, Optical, and Morphological Study of the Zinc Oxide Nano-Thin Films with Different Thickness Prepared by Pulsed Laser Deposition Technique
...Show More Authors

The goal of this investigation is to prepare zinc oxide (ZnO) nano-thin films by pulsed laser deposition (PLD) technique through Q-switching double frequency Nd:YAG laser (532 nm) wavelength, pulse frequency 6 Hz, and 300 mJ energy under vacuum conditions (10-3 torr) at room temperature. (ZnO) nano-thin films were deposited on glass substrates with different thickness of 300, 600 and 900 nm. ZnO films, were then annealed in air at a temperature of 500 °C for one hour. The results were compared with the researchers' previous theoretical study. The XRD analysis of ZnO nano-thin films indicated a hexagonal multi-crystalline wurtzite structure with preferential growth lines (100), (002), (101) for ZnO nano-thin films with different thi

Effect of In2O3 and Eu2O3 Dopants on Morphology and Gas Sensing Properties of CeO2 Thin Films
...Show More Authors

Pulsed-laser deposition (PLD) technique was used to prepare thin films from cerium oxide (CeO2) doped with erbium and indium oxides. In order to characterize the morphology and sensing features, these films were deposited on glass and/or single silicon substrates, respectively, with erbium and indium oxides. The morphological investigation conducted using atomic force microscope has shown an increase in the non-regularity of particle diameter with increasing doping ratios of both oxides. The maximum particle diameter of 61.45nm was obtained for 9% Eu2O3-doped CeO2. The surface roughness value of Eu2O3-doped ceria was higher than those of In2O3-doped ceria. The gas sensing measurements were done at

Effect of current intensity on structural properties of cupper iodine nanoparticles produced by exploding Cu wire
...Show More Authors

Exploding wire Technique is a way for production metal and its compound nanoparticle that is capable of production of bulk amount at low cost semiconductor. In this work a copper iodine nanoparticles were fabricate by exploding copper wires with different currents in iodine solution. The produced samples were examined by XRD, FTIR, SEM and TEM to characterize their properties. The XRD proved the Nano-size for producer. The crystalline size increases with increasing current. FTIR measurements show a peaks located at 638.92 for Cu-I stretch bond indicate on formation of copper iodide compound and the peaks intensities increase with increasing current. The SEM and TEM measurements show that the thin films have nanostructures.

Violet Laser Irradiation Effect on The Optical Properties of Cobalt oxide (CoO2) Thin Films deposited via Semi-Computerized Spraying System
...Show More Authors
Abstract<p>The existing investigation explains the consequence of irradiation of violet laser on the optic properties of (CoO2) films. The film was equipped by the utilization of semi-computerized spray pyrolysis technique (SCSPT), it is the first time that this technique is used in the preparation and irradiation using a laser in this technique. From the XRD analysis, the crystalline existence with trigonal crystal system was when the received films were processed by continuous violet laser (405 nm) with power (1W) for different laser irradiation time using different number of times a laser scan (0, 6, 9, 12, 15 and 18 times) with total irradiation time(0,30,45,60,75,90 min</p> ... The influence of temperature and size on the absorption coefficient of CdSe quantum dots
...Show More Authors
Abstract<p>Because of Cadmium selenide quantum dots (CdSe quantum dots) has a tuning energy gap in the visible light range, therefore; it is provided a simple theoretical model for the absorption coefficient of CdSe quantum dots, where the absorption coefficient determines the extent to which the light of a material can penetrate a specific wavelength before it is absorbed. CdSe quantum dots have an energy gap can be controlled through two effects: the temperature and the dot size of them. It is found that; there is an absorption threshold for each directed wavelength, where CdSe quantum dots begin to absorb the visible spectrum at a size of 1.4 nm at room temperature for a directed wavelength 3</p> ... The Influence of Clay Bricks Dust Incorporation on the Self-Curing of Cement Mortar
...Show More Authors

Self- curing is the potential of lightweight aggregate to absorption great amount of water thru mixing which prominently can moves to the paste during hydration process. Self- curing empowers a water to be distributes more evenly act out the cross section. Whereas, the external curing water is only able to penetrate several millimetres into concrete with low water cement ratio. Brick dust accumulates in the demolish site creates serious environmental contamination. This study investigates the effect of brick dust recovered from construction site on the Properties of mortar cured in three curing conditions. Mortar in this study produced using BD as cement additive with (2, 4, 6, and 8) % by weight of cement. BD was used a

Study the Effect of PH Variation on the Particle Size of Sio2 Thin Films
...Show More Authors

In this paper, SiO2 nanoparticles thin films were synthesised at different PH values of solution by sol gel method at fixed temperature (25oC) and molar ratio (R =H2O/precursor) of (Tetra Ethyl Ortho Silicate) TEOS as precursor at (R=1). The structure and optical properties of the thin films have been investigated. All thin films were tested by using X-RAY diffraction. All X-RAY spectrum can be indexed as monoclinic structure with strong crystalline (110) plane. The morphological properties of the prepared films were studied by SEM. The results indicate that all films are in nano scale and the particle size around (19-62) nm .The size of silica particles increases with increasing PH value of solution where both the rate of hydrolysis and

Influence of Fluoride Addition on Hydroxyapatite Prepared for Medical Applications
...Show More Authors

In this study, hydroxyapatite (HAP, Ca10(PO4)6(OH)2) has been prepared as bioceramic material with biological specifications useful to used for orthopedic and dental implant applications. Wet chemical processing seems to form the fine grain size and uniform characteristic nanocrystalline materials by the interstice factors controlling which affected the grain size and crystallinity in order to give good mechanical and/or constituent properties similar as natural bone. Fluorinated hydroxyapatite [4-6 wt% F, (FHA, Ca10(PO4)6(OH)2–Fx] was developed in new method for its posses to increased strength and to give higher corrosion resistance in biofluids than pure HAP moreover reduces the risk of dental caries. The phase's and functional groups
