Activated carbon was Produced from coconut shell and was used for removing sulfate from industrial waste water in batch Processes. The influence of various parameter were studied such as pH (4.5 – 9.) , agitation time (0 – 120)min and adsorbent dose (2 – 10) gm.

The Langmuir and frandlich adsorption capacity models were been investigated where showed there are fitting with langmmuir model with squre regression value ( 0.76). The percent of removal of  sulfate (22% - 38%) at (PH=7) in the isotherm experiment increased  with adsorbent mass increasing. The maximum removal value of sulfate at  different pH experiments is (43%) at pH=7.

Prodigiosin is a ‘natural red pigment produced by Serratia marcescens which exhibits immunosuppressive and anticancer properties in addition to antimicrobial activities. This work presents an attempt to maximize the production of prodigiosin by two different strategies: one factor at time (OFAT) and statistical optimization. The result of OFAT revealed that sucrose and peptone were the best carbon and nitrogen sources for pigment production with concentration of prodigiosin of about 135 mg/ L. The aim of this paper is to propose a reliable iterative method for resolving many types of Volterra - Fredholm Integro - Differential Equations of the second kind with initial conditions. The series solutions of the problems under consideration are obtained by means of the iterative method. Four various problems are resolved with high accuracy to make evident the enforcement of the iterative method on such type of integro differential equations. Results were compared with the exact solution which exhibits that this technique was compatible with the right solutions, simple, effective and easy for solving such problems. To evaluate the results in an iterative process the MATLAB is used as a math program for the calculations.
