An experiment is conducted to determine the effect of magnetic water on the production performance and blood characteristics of common quail, Coturnix coturnix (Linnaeus, 1758). The experimental treatments included T1 = control treatment, T2 = drinking water magnetization at1000 gauss, T3 = drinking water magnetization at 1500 gauss, T4 = diet sprayed with magnetized water 1000 gauss, T5 = diet sprayed with magnetized water 1500 gauss, each treatment with three replicates. The results showed significant superiority of control group in the body weight, weight gain and feed intake compared with treated groups. This study included preparation for the unsaturated polyester samples before and after reinforced by Alumina oxide powder and copper oxide powder of different volume fraction amounting (3%,5%,8%). And this reearch included study of some of mechanical properties such as (hardness,compressive and wear).The results showed that increase of the hardness and compressive strength after the reinforced and increase with the volume fraction increase.As the wear test show that the wear rate increases with applied load from the different load(5,10,15)N,and the wear rate decreases with the volume fraction increase.

   The cytotoxic effect of different concentrations of Crude extracts of  Solanum melongena  , Curcuma longa and  Daucus carota  on  mice mammary adenocarcinoma cell line was  studied . The concentrations  used were 62.5 125 , 250, 500 Microgram/militer for 24,48 and 72 hour . These exracts were prepared by  using alcoholic and  hot water methods . The aim of the present research is concerned with study the effect of UV radiation on the optical properties at wavelengths 254, 365 nm of pure PC and anthracene doping PC films prepared using the cast method for different doping ratio 10-60 mL. Films of pure PC and anthracene doping PC were aged under UV radiation for periods of up to 360 h. It found that the effect of UV radiation at wavelength 254 nm on the optical properties is great than the effect of UV radiation at wavelength 365 nm. Also, it found that the optical energy gap of pure PC and anthracene doping PC films is stable against radiation.

This work is concerned with the study of the effect of cement types, particularly OPC and SRPC, which are the main cement types manufactured in Iraq. In addition, study the effect of mineral admixtures, which are HRM and SF on the resistance of high performance concrete (HPC) to internal sulphate attack. The HRM is used at (10%) and SF is used at (8 and 10)% as a partial replacement by weight of cement for both types. The percentages of sulphate investigated are (1,2 and 3)% by adding natural gypsum as a partial replacement by weight of fine aggregate. The tests carried out in this work are: compressive strength, flexural strength, ultrasonic pulse velocity, and density at the age of 7, 28, 90 and 120 days.
