An Efficient Algorithm for Fuzzy Linear Fractional Programming Problems via Ranking Function

In many applications such as production, planning, the decision maker is important in optimizing an objective function that has fuzzy ratio two functions which can be handed using fuzzy fractional programming problem technique. A special class of optimization technique named fuzzy fractional programming problem is considered in this work when the coefficients of objective function are fuzzy. New ranking function is proposed and used to convert the data of the fuzzy fractional programming problem from fuzzy number to crisp number so that the shortcoming when treating the original fuzzy problem can be avoided. Here a novel ranking function approach of ordinary fuzzy numbers is adopted for ranking of triangular fuzzy numbers with simpler and easier calculations as well as shortening in the procedures. The fuzzy fractional programming problem is the first reduced to a fractional programming problem and then solved with the technique to obtain the optimal solution. It has a power to give a best solution for supporting the solution theory proposed in this work, some numerical fuzzy fractional programming problem are included to ensure the advantage, efficiency and accuracy of the suggested algorithm. In addition, this research paper describes a comparison between our optimal solutions with other existing solutions for inequalities constrains fuzzy fractional program.

Unification of Generalized pre-regular closed Sets on Topological Spaces

This paper intends to initiate a new type of generalized closed set in topological space with the theoretical application of generalized topological space. This newly defined set is a weaker form than the -closed set as well as -closed set. Some phenomenal characterizations and results of newly defined sets are inculcated in a proper manner. The characteristics of normal spaces and regular spaces are achieved in the light of the generalized pre-regular closed set.

On the Stability of Four Dimensional Lotka-Volterra Prey-Predator System

The aim of this work is to study a modified version of the four-dimensional Lotka-Volterra model. In this model, all of the four species grow logistically. This model has at most sixteen possible equilibrium points. Five of them always exist without any restriction on the parameters of the model, while the existence of the other points is subject to the fulfillment of some necessary and sufficient conditions. Eight of the points of equilibrium are unstable and the rest are locally asymptotically stable under certain conditions, In addition, a basin of attraction found for each point that can be asymptotically locally stable. Conditions are provided to ensure that all solutions are bounded. Finally, numerical simulations are given to veri

Obesity Impact on Heart Rate Variability Indices and the Modulation Effect of Regular Physical Activity.

Background: Obesity is imposing a growing threat to world health. The autonomic nervous system (ANS) regulates visceral functions via balance between sympathetic and parasympathetic divisions. In the cardiovascular system (CVS) this non stationary balance results in the fluctuation between intervals of consecutive heart beats, so called heart rate variability (HRV). Obesity is one of the causative co-morbid conditions leading to metabolic and cardiac disorders as it is accompanied with varied combinations of abnormalities in the ANS, one view is that obese people have higher sympathetic tone. HRV measures the effect of autonomic function on the heart alone. Therefore, it could be the most useful method to investigate the

Behavior of Partially Saturated Cohesive Soil under Strip Footing

In this paper, a shallow foundation (strip footing), 1 m in width is assumed to be constructed on fully saturated and partially saturated Iraqi soils, and analyzed by finite element method. A procedure is proposed to define the H – modulus function from the soil water characteristic curve which is measured by the filter paper method. Fitting methods are applied through the program (SoilVision). Then, the soil water characteristic curve is converted to relation correlating the void ratio and matric suction. The slope of the latter relation can be used to define the H – modulus function. The finite element programs SIGMA/W and SEEP/W are then used in the analysis. Eight nodded isoparametric quadrilateral elements are used for modeling

Phytochemical Screening and in Vitro Antimicrobial Activities of Euphorbia Lateriflora on Selected Pathogens

Euphorbia lateriflora is a popular traditional medicinal plant whose leaves are used in Africa, especially Nigeria, to treat wounds and many diseases. This study investigated the preliminary phytochemical constituents, secondary metabolites by High-Performance Liquid Chromatography “HPLC” technique, and antimicrobial potentials (Minimum Inhibitory Concentration “MIC”, Minimum Fungicidal Concentration “MFC” and disc diffusion assay) of various concentrations (100 mg/mL, 50 mg/ml, and 25 mg/mL) of the solvents (ethyl acetate and n-hexane) extracts of E. lateriflora against Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli and Candida albicans. The phytochemical screening revealed that

Identifying Digital Forensic Frameworks Based on Processes Models

Digital forensic is part of forensic science that implicitly covers crime related to computer and other digital devices. It‟s being for a while that academic studies are interested in digital forensics. The researchers aim to find out a discipline based on scientific structures that defines a model reflecting their observations. This paper suggests a model to improve the whole investigation process and obtaining an accurate and complete evidence and adopts securing the digital evidence by cryptography algorithms presenting a reliable evidence in a court of law. This paper presents the main and basic concepts of the frameworks and models used in digital forensics investigation.

Comparison of Hurst exponent estimation methods

Through recent years many researchers have developed methods to estimate the self-similarity and long memory parameter that is best known as the Hurst parameter. In this paper, we set a comparison between nine different methods. Most of them use the deviations slope to find an estimate for the Hurst parameter like Rescaled range (R/S), Aggregate Variance (AV), and Absolute moments (AM), and some depend on filtration technique like Discrete Variations (DV), Variance versus level using wavelets (VVL) and Second-order discrete derivative using wavelets (SODDW) were the comparison set by a simulation study to find the most efficient method through MASE. The results of simulation experiments were shown that the performance of the meth

On Commutativity of Prime and Semiprime - Rings with Reverse Derivations

Let M be a weak Nobusawa -ring and γ be a non-zero element of Γ. In this paper, we introduce concept of k-reverse derivation, Jordan k-reverse derivation, generalized k-reverse derivation, and Jordan generalized k-reverse derivation of Γ-ring, and γ-homomorphism, anti-γ-homomorphism of M. Also, we give some commutattivity conditions on γ-prime Γ-ring and γ-semiprime Γ-ring .

Satellite Image Classification using Spectral Signature and Deep Learning

When images are customized to identify changes that have occurred using techniques such as spectral signature, which can be used to extract features, they can be of great value. In this paper, it was proposed to use the spectral signature to extract information from satellite images and then classify them into four categories. Here it is based on a set of data from the Kaggle satellite imagery website that represents different categories such as clouds, deserts, water, and green areas. After preprocessing these images, the data is transformed into a spectral signature using the Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) algorithm. Then the data of each image is reduced by selecting the top 20 features and transforming them from a two-dimensiona
