On Preradical of Semimodules

In this paper we study the notion of preradical on some subcategories of the category of semimodules and homomorphisms of semimodules.
Since some of the known preradicals on modules fail to satisfy the conditions of preradicals, if the category of modules was extended to semimodules, it is necessary to investigate some subcategories of semimodules, like the category of subtractive semimodules with homomorphisms and the category of subtractive semimodules with ҽҟ-regular homomorphisms.

Effect of Operating Cconditions on Hydrodesulfurization of Vacuum Gas Oil

This study was conducted according to contract with the North Refineries Company-Baiji and deals with the hydrodesulphurization of vacuum gas oil of Kirkuk crude oil, boiling range 611-833 K. A trickle bed reactor packed with a commercial cobalt-molybdenum on alumina catalyst was used. The operating conditions were: temperature range 583-643 K, liquid hourly space velocity range 1.50-3.75 1/h, hydrogen to oil ratio about 250 l/l and pressure kept constant at 3.5MPa.
The results showed that the aromatic content decreased and sulfur removal increased with increasing temperature and decreasing space velocity. The properties (viscosity, density, flash point and carbon residue) of the products decrease with temperature increasing, but the

Effect of Silver Nanoparticles on Fluorescence Spectra of C480 dye

This work aim to study the effect of silver nanoparticles on fluorescence intensity of Coumarin 480 dye by using the sandwiches technique where AgNP layer had been separated from C480 layer by different type of materials such as silica, PMMA polymer and PVA polymer layer. Silver nanoparticles had been prepared by the chemical reduction method so the AgNP layer coating had been done by hot rotation liquid method. The optical properties of prepared samples had been tested by using UV-VIS absorption spectrophotometer and Fluorescence spectrophotometer. Morphology, average size and the structure of nanoparticles were estimated using AFM, SEM testes

On q-SZASZ- Mirakyan Operators of functions of Two Variables

In this paper, we define two operators of summation and summation-integral of q-type in two dimensional spaces. Firstly, we study the convergence of these operators and then we prove Voronovskaya- type asymptotic formulas for these operators.

A Study of Adsorption of Zr (IV) on Manganese Dioxide

The adsorption of zirconium, on manganese dioxide from nitric

acid solutions has been studied as a function of shaking time, concentration of electrolytes, concentration of adsorbate and temperature effects (25- 90°C).

Four hours of shaking was appropriate to ensure that the

adsorption plateau was reached and the adsorption of zirconium decrease with an increase in nitric acid concentration. The limiting adsorption capacities at 3 molar nitric acid was 0.2 Zr per mole of Mn02. Working at elevated temperature was in favour

The Effect of Humidity on Superconducting Phase of Bi-2223

The ceramics specimens as superconducting phase (Bi2PbxSr2Ca2Cu3O10+δ) with different concentrations of Pb from (0.0-0.5) were prepared by solid-state reaction method. Superconducting samples were exposed to high humidity (RH 75% at 25ºC) for seven weeks time interval. The humidity has a negative effect on the transition temperature of superconductor phase .It destroys the superconducting phase and the samples were converting to insulator.

Effects of Magnetized Water on the Accumulated Depth of Infiltration

This study was carried out to investigate the effects of magnetized water on accumulated infiltration depth. A test rig was designed and constructed for this purpose was installed at the water tests laboratory of the Department of Water Resources Engineering at the University of aghdad. The investigation was carried out by using two types of soil, different flow velocities throughout magnetizing device and different configuration of magnets over and under the water passage of the magnetizing device. The soils that were used in the experiments are clayey and sandy soils. Six different flow velocities throughout magnetizing device ranged between 0.29 to 1.19 cm/s and ten configurations of arranging the magnets over and under th

The Effect Of Thickness on The Optical Properties Of ZnS

Zinc sulfide(ZnS) thin films of different thickness were deposited on corning glass with the substrate kept at room temperature and high vacuum using thermal evaporation technique.the film properties investigated include their absorbance/transmittance/reflectance spectra, band gap, refractive index, extinction coefficient, complex dielectric constant and thickness. The films were found to exhibt high transmittance(59-98%) ,low absorbance and low reflectance in the visible/near infrared region up to 900 nm..However, the absorbance of the films were found to be high in the ultra violet region with peak around 360 nm.The thickness(using optical interference fringes method) of various films thichness(100,200,300,and 400) nm.The band gap meas

INFLUENCE OF AMBIENT TEMPERATURE ON STIFFNESS OF ASPHALT PAVING MATERIALS

Asphalt pavement properties in Iraq are highly affected by elevated summer air temperatures. One of these properties is stiffness (resilient modulus). To explain the effect of air temperatures on stiffness of asphalt concrete, it is necessary to determine the distribution of temperatures through the pavement asphalt concrete layers. In this study, the distribution of pavement temperatures at three depths (2cm,7cm, 10cm) below the pavement surface is determined by using the temperature data logger instrument. A relationship for determining pavement temperature as related to depth and air temperature has been suggested. To achieve the objective of this thesis, the prepared specimens have been tested for indirect tension in accordance with

Effect of Dietary Linseed on Egg Quality of Laying Quail

To assess the effects of dietary oil sources on productive and reproductive traits, sunflower oil, flax oil, corn oil, or fish oil were induced in quail diets. One hundred and sixty-eight 7-week-old Japanese quail were randomly assigned to 4 groups (12 males and 30 females each) with 3 replicates per group containing 4 males and 10 females each and fed for 13 weeks (including one week as an adaptation period) on a commercial diet supplemented with 3% of sunflower oil (T1), flax oil (T2), corn oil (T3), or fish oil (T4). The birds received water and were fed ad libitum during the study. The results of the experiment revealed that dietary supplementation with different sources of oil had no significant effect on male body weight, female body

The Impact of Smoking on the Complications of Acute Appendicitis
Abstract
Introduction The pathophysiology of appendicitis likely stems from obstruction of the appendiceal orifice leading to an increase in intraluminal and intramural pressure, resulting in small vessel occlusion and lymphatic stasis. Organ supplied by an end artery, such as the appendix, are more prone to the deleterious effects of arterial occlusion. The continuous cigarette smoking might be associated with a greater risk for developing atherosclerosis.

Objectives The aim is to evaluate the effect of cigarette smoking on the incidence of complications of acute appendicitis.

Methods Patients suffered from symptoms and signs suggesting a
...
