The current research aims to detect the level of suicidal tendencies among secondary school students in terms of gender and educational stage (intermediate school students and high school students). The researcher adopted Al Hafeez's (2017) scale for suicidal tendencies, it consists of (57) items including six domains, namely: suicidal ideation, social motives for suicide, tendency to self-harm, desire for death, indifference and pessimism about life, willingness to commit suicide. The scale was modified to be (42) items after it was exposed to a group of experts. يعد الامن النفسي من الحاجات الاساسية اللازمة للنمو النفسي السليم لكل فرد، واذا ما اشبعها الانسان تهيأ لاشباع حاجاته النفسية والاجتماعية الاخرى. وتشتمل هذه الحاجة على تجنب الالم والتحرر من الخوف اياً كان مصدره والشعور بالطمأنينة الاقتصادية والاجتماعية والجسمية والحصول على تقبل الاخرين ورضاهم، فضلاً عن تقبل الفرد لنفسه وقناعته ورضاه عنها.

Abstract

The current research aims to identify the typical effect of Flower and Coscroft on expressive performance and the development of lateral thinking among literary fifth-grade students. To achieve the research objective, the researcher chose a sample of (90) female students from the fifth literary grade, with two experimental groups and a control group. The research groups are of six subjects. The research found that the two experimental groups have more expressive performance than the control group. Students of the first experimental group outperformed the students of the second experimental group in expressive performance and lateral thinking tests.
