In 2010, Long and Zeng introduced a new generalization of the Bernstein polynomials that depends on a parameter  and called -Bernstein polynomials. After that, in 2018, Lain and Zhou studied the uniform convergence for these -polynomials and obtained a Voronovaskaja-type asymptotic formula in ordinary approximation. This paper studies the convergence theorem and gives two Voronovaskaja-type asymptotic formulas of the sequence of -Bernstein polynomials in both ordinary and simultaneous approximations. Samples collection was conducted via directing air flow to a mixed cellulose ester membrane filter mounted on an open‑faced filter holder using sniffer with a low flow sampling pump. Air samples were collected from four studied areas selected in some high traffic areas of Baghdad city, two of them were located in Karkh (Al-Bayaa and Al-Shurta tunnel) and two in Rusafa (Al-Jadriya and Al-Meshin complex), then analyzed to determine concentrations of asbestos.      In the present work, the possibility of treating many types of radioactive sources was examined practically. Six types of sealed radioactive sources were selected: ¹³⁷Cs, ¹³³Ba, ⁹⁰Sr, ¹⁵²Eu, ²²⁶Ra, and ²⁴¹Am. The sources were exposed to a neutron flux emitted from ²⁴¹Am/Be source for 33 days. The results showed a measurable reduction of activity for ²²⁶Ra, ²⁴¹Am, and ¹⁵²Eu, while the other radionuclides, ¹³⁷Cs, ¹³³Ba, and ⁹⁰Sr, showed less response to neutron incineration.

Concentrations of uranium were measured in this study for twenty soil samples from four areas with different depths (soil surface-20-40-60-80)cm .The study regions include Missan Governorate (Al-Iskan area,Al-Shibbana area ,Hai-Al Moualimin Al Jadied area ,Sector 30 area). The Uranium concentrations in soil samples measured by using fission tracks registration in (CR-39) track detector that caused by the bombardment of (U-283) with thermal neutrons from (241Am-Be) neutron source that has flux neutron thermal of (5 ×103 n cm-2 s-1). The concentrations values were calculated by a comparison with standard samples.
