Effect of Soil Textural Classes on the Biological Nitrogen Fixation by Bradyrhizobium Measured by 15N Dilution Analysis
...Show More Authors

The current study was conductedas a pot experiment to determine the effect of soil texture on biological nitrogen fixation (BNF) of six most efficient local isolates, specified, of Bradyrhizobium. Cowpea (Vignaunguiculata L.), as a legume host crop, was used as a host crop and 15N dilution analysis was used for accurate determination of the amount of N biologically fixed under experimental parameters specified. Soils used are clay loam, sandy clay loam and sandy loam. Biological Nitrogen Fixation (BNF), in different soil textural classes, was as in the following order: medium texture soil > heavy texture soil > light textured soil. Statistical analysis showed that there is a significant variation in BNF % among six Iraqi isolates in the three soil textural classes. There is a significant variation in the number of the nodules of the six Isolates in one soil texture. However, nodules number does not agree with the BNF% in the same soil for any isolates. Statistical analysis of the data showed that there were significant differences in plant dry weight among the soil textural classes all over local isolates used in this study. Data also showed that there were significant differences in dry weight under different isolates.

OCCURRENCE OF HEMIPTERAN SPECIES ON ALFALFA PLANT IN BAGHDAD
...Show More Authors

Hemipteran species of alfalfa plant surveyed in Abu Ghraib, Baghdad during the months of April, May and October of 2010. The study was registered, eight species belonging to eight genera and six families. The results showed that Deracoris sp. Kirschbaum,1855 and Campylomma diversicornis Reuter, 1878 the most abundant species while Lygaeus pandurus Scop. and Pyrrhocorius apterus (Linnaeus 1758) were the lowest during the study period.

Review of 3D Networks-On-Chip Simulators and Plugins
...Show More Authors

A comprehensive review focuses on 3D network-on-chip (NoC) simulators and plugins while paying attention to the 2D simulators as the baseline is presented. Discussions include the programming languages, installation configuration, platforms and operating systems for the respective simulators. In addition, the simulator’s properties and plugins for design metrics evaluations are addressed. This review is intended for the early career researchers starting in 3D NoC, offering selection guidelines on the right tools for the targeted NoC architecture, design, and requirements.

Nanoparticles influence on wetting behaviour of fractured limestone formation
...Show More Authors

Nanoparticles have gained considerable interest in recent times for oil recovery purposes owing to significant capabilities in wettability alteration of reservoir rocks. Wettability is a key factor controlling displacement efficiency and ultimate recovery of oil. The present study investigates the influence of zirconium (IV) oxide (ZrO2) and nickel (II) oxide (NiO) nanoparticles on the wetting preference of fractured (oil-wet) limestone formations. Wettability was assessed through SEM, AFM and contact angle. The potentials of the nanoparticles to alter oil-wet calcite substrates water wet, was experimentally tested at low nanoparticle concentrations (0.004–0.05 wt%). Quite similar behaviour was observed for both nanoparticles at the same

ON Numerical Blow-Up Solutions of Semilinear Heat Equations
...Show More Authors

This paper is concerned with the numerical blow-up solutions of semi-linear heat equations, where the nonlinear terms are of power type functions, with zero Dirichlet boundary conditions. We use explicit linear and implicit Euler finite difference schemes with a special time-steps formula to compute the blow-up solutions, and to estimate the blow-up times for three numerical experiments. Moreover, we calculate the error bounds and the numerical order of convergence arise from using these methods. Finally, we carry out the numerical simulations to the discrete graphs obtained from using these methods to support the numerical results and to confirm some known blow-up properties for the studied problems.

On New Types of Weakly Neutrosophic Crisp Open Mappings
...Show More Authors

This work employs the conceptions of neutrosophic crisp a-open and semi-a-open sets to distinguish some novel forms of weakly neutrosophic crisp open mappings; for instance, neutrosophic crisp a-open mappings, neutrosophic crisp a*-open mappings, neutrosophic crisp a**-open mappings, neutrosophic crisp semi-a-open mappings, neutrosophic crisp semi-a*-open mappings, and neutrosophic crisp semi-a**-open mappings. Moreover, the close connections between these forms of weakly neutrosophic crisp open mappings and the viewpoints of neutrosophic crisp open mappings are explained. Additionally, various theorems and related features and notes are submitted.

Influence of Removable Orthodontic Appliance on Oral Microbiological Status
...Show More Authors

Background: the placement of orthodontic appliances creates a favorable environment for the accumulation of microbiota, therefore this study is to assess
the relationship between removable orthodontic appliance and oral microflora.
Materials and methods: a sample 45 patients who come to orthodontic department at the collage of dentistry/Baghdad university, divided into 3 groups:
group 1 (15) without appliance, group2 (15) with appliance for 2 weeks-2 months, and group 3 (15) with appliance for 2 -4 months, then examine the oral microflora
and compared between the 3 groups.
Results: the result showed eleven types of microorganisms appear in group 3 then followed by seven types in group 2 but only three t

Effects of Covid-19 vaccination on different semen parameters

Abstract
<title>Background

The possible effects of COVID-19 vaccines on reproductive health and male fertility in particular have been discussed intensely by the scientific community and the public since their introduction during the pandemic. On news outlets and social media platforms, many claims have been raised regarding the deleterious effects of COVID-19 vaccines on sperm quality without scientific evidence. In response to this emerging conflict, we designed this study to evaluate and assess the effect of the Pfizer-BioNTech mRNA COVID-19 vaccine on male fertility represented by the semen analysis parameters.

In this work we present semiannihilator; supplement submodule as a generalization of R-a- supplement submodule, Let U and V be submodules of an R-module D if D=U+V and whenever Y≤ V and D=U+Y, then annY≪R;. We also introduce the the concept of semiannihilator -supplemented ;modules and semiannihilator weak; supplemented modules, and we give some basic properties of this conseptes

Closure Operators on Graphs
...Show More Authors

The aim of this paper is to generate topological structure on the power set of vertices of digraphs using new definition which is Gm-closure operator on out-linked of digraphs. Properties of this topological structure are studied and several examples are given. Also we give some new generalizations of some definitions in digraphs to the some known definitions in topology which are Ropen subgraph, α-open subgraph, pre-open subgraph, and β-open subgraph. Furthermore, we define and study the accuracy of these new generalizations on subgraps and paths.
