Although the Arabic haiku has its roots in Japanese poetry structure, it frequently deviates from conventional Arabic prosody, showing only sporadic adherence to its guidelines. Arab poets have made an effort to use the haiku form while adhering to the prosody and linguistic limitations of Arabic. In spite of these efforts, the haiku usually exhibits a noticeable defiance of the limitations of conventional Arabic prosody in its Arabic form. It is crucial to critically analyze this non-conforming structure because of its origins in Japanese religious incantations. Arab poets have modified the haiku through a process of reinterpretation, essentially changing its original form into a concise form of modern poetry expression. This research endeavors to clarify the basic features and etymology of haiku, compare its structural expressions in Arabic and Japanese literature, and then offer the findings from this comparative study
The aim of this paper is to derive a posteriori error estimates for semilinear parabolic interface problems. More specifically, optimal order a posteriori error analysis in the - norm for semidiscrete semilinear parabolic interface problems is derived by using elliptic reconstruction technique introduced by Makridakis and Nochetto in (2003). A key idea for this technique is the use of error estimators derived for elliptic interface problems to obtain parabolic estimators that are of optimal order in space and time.

Addition of bioactive materials such as Titanium oxide (TiO2), and incorporation of bio inert ceramic such as alumina (Al2O3), into polyetheretherketone (PEEK) has been adopted as an effective approach to improve bone-implant interfaces. The dispersion of supported Pt and Pt–Ir reforming catalysts have been studied, after treatment with oxidative and reducing atmosphere. Methylcyclohexane dehydrogenation reaction in the absence of hydrogen was used as a test reaction. An attempt was made to relate the behavior of the catalysts upon subject to reaction, to the dispersion of the same type of catalysts upon treatment with similar atmosphere and temperatures which appeared in literature. The total conversion of reaction can be explained by a change in metal dispersion. Thus, methylcyclohexane dehydrogenation reaction appears to be a really “structure sensitive” reaction.
