A new colorimetric-flow injection method has been developed and validated for the detection of Cefotaxime sodium in pharmaceutical formulations. This method stands out for its rapid and sensitive nature. The formation of a brown-colored complex between Cefotaxime sodium and the Biuret reagent in a highly alkaline environment serves as the basis for the detection. This paper presents a point multiplication processor over the binary field GF (2²³³) with internal registers integrated within the point-addition architecture to enhance the Performance Index (PI) of scalar multiplication. The proposed design uses one of two types of finite field multipliers, either the Montgomery multiplier or the interleaved multiplier supported by the additional layer of internal registers. Lopez Dahab coordinates are used for the computation of point multiplication on Koblitz Curve (K-233bit). In contrast, the metric used for comparison of the implementations of the design on different types of FPGA platforms is the Performance Index.

The aim of this research work is to evaluate the use of 980 nm diode laser in clotting the blood
in the bone socket after tooth extraction. The objective is to prevent possible clot dislodgement which is
a defect that may lead to possible infection. A number of rabbits were irradiated using 980nm CW mode
diode laser, 0.86W power output for 9s and 15s exposure time. The irradiated groups were studied
histopathologically in comparison with a control group. Results showed that laser photothermal
coagulation was of benefit in minimizing the possibility of the incidence of postoperative complications.
The formation of the clot reduces the possibility of bleeding and infection.
