Explainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI) techniques enable transparency and trust in automated visual inspection systems by making black-box machine learning models understandable. While XAI has been widely applied, prior reviews have not addressed the specific demands of industrial and medical inspection tasks. This paper reviews studies applying XAI techniques to visual inspection across industrial and medical domains. A systematic search was conducted in IEEE Xplore, Scopus, PubMed, arXiv, and Web of Science for studies published between 2014 and 2025, with inclusion criteria requiring the application of XAI in inspection tasks using public or domain-specific datasets. From an initial pool of studies, 75 were included and categorized into post-hoc and intrinsic, which were then evaluated with respect to fidelity, robustness, complexity, and localization accuracy. Results show that gradient- and propagation-based methods offer efficient visual explanations suitable for near real-time inspection, though with coarse localization, while perturbation-based and surrogate-model methods provide more detailed attributions at higher computational cost but with reduced robustness. In addition, prototype-based networks and self-attention architectures illustrate trade-offs between interpretability and predictive performance. Selecting the most effective XAI method is not one-size-fits-all; it depends on the dataset, latency, and interpretability needs. This review introduces a unified taxonomy of XAI methods for visual inspection, compares different approaches in both industrial and medical domains using standardized metrics, and proposes a task-based selection workflow to guide practitioners in choosing the optimal method. Compared to prior reviews, this work offers a cross-domain comparative analysis grounded in quantitative benchmarks and outlines directions for standardized evaluation and user-centered validation.
A fixed firefighting system is a key component of fire safeguarding and reducing fire danger. It is installed as a permanent component in a structure to protect the entire or a portion of the building and its contents. The study aims to review the previous studies that deal with the evaluation of fire safety measures and their use in resolving problems associated with fire threats in buildings. For this reason, a number of previous studies in this field were reviewed compared with the NFPA code. The findings revealed that regulatory developments over the last several decades had created an atmosphere conducive to innovation. This has resulted in a growth in the number of fixed firefighting system types now obtainable. Th

This machinery led to remarkably higher dynamic forces and therefore higher stresses. In this paper, a dynamic investigation of rectangular machine diesel and gas engines foundation at the top surface of one-layer dry sand with various states (i.e., loose, medium and dense) was carried out. The dynamic investigation is performed numerically by utilizing limited component programming, PLAXIS 3D. The soil is accepted as flexible totally plastic material submits to Mohr-Coulomb yield basis. A harmonic load is applied at the foundation with amplitude of 10 kPa at a frequency of (10, 15 and 20) HZ and se

The morphological characteristics under study were enhanced by illustrations and images. Information on the locations and date of the collection was also confirmed. This study aims to identify the most important characteristics of the diagnosis of the species and the review of appearance variations, especially the analytical style of wings, coupling

We aim to know how the mark operates and how it is interpreted, as a semantic process in which the meaning ranges from description to interpretation, and we studied two hypotheses:
-The advertising image is a structure in which the mark corresponds to the reality and the discourse to the context.
-The significance is not found in the visual sign or in the textual sign of the advertising image, but in the creative event that opens up to the social, cultural, and psychological context, and creates a field of dia

Its importance is to illustrate the aesthetics produced by the semantic displacement of the theatrical sign and it is specialized in postmodern theater. The purpose of the research can be delimited to revealing the aesthetic work of the semantic displacement of the sign and the visual formation in the postmodern theatre. This paper presents two main parts: The first part involves manufacturing the specimens form composite material for mechanical testing (tensile, flexural and fatigue tests), then design a custom foot orthesis (CFO) and manufacturing from composite lamination (3nylglass 2carbon fiber 3nylglass) for patient suffer from flexible flat foot since birth and over-pronation. The second part of this research involves a design a model of custom foot orthesis in (solid work 2018) and then analysis of custom foot orthosis in engineering analysis program (ANSYS V.18.2).The applied pressure in boundary condition adopted from Force Sensor Resistance (FSR 402 ) in various regions in foot after wearing composite CFO. Such a resistance towards the current antimicrobials leads to the search of novel antimicrobials. Nanotechnology has been promising in different field of science and among it is the use of nanoparticles as antibacterial agents. The gastrointestinal tract seems to be the primary reservoir of uropathogenic E.coli (UPEC) in humans. UPEC strains harbour the urinary tract and cause urinary tract infection. They cause serious ailments in terms of humans. They develop resistance and increase their virulence by forming biofilms. They also show a remarkable locomotory movement with the aid of autoinducer controlled ge
