Exploring the antibacterial potential of neem oil (Azadirachta indica) in combination with gentamicin (GEN) against pathogenic molds, especially Pseudomonas aeruginosa, has drawn concern due to the quest for natural treatment options against incurable diseases. Prospective research directions include looking for natural cures for many of the currently incurable diseases available now. microbial identification system, were used to identify the isolates. The research utilized a range of methods, such as the diffusion agar well (AWD) assays, TEM (transmission electron microscopy) analysis, minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) assays, and real-time PCR (RT-qPCR) to analyze bacterial expression and the antibacterial action of neem oil (Azadirachta indica) combined with gentamicin (GEN) against the pathogenic bacteria Pseudomonas aeruginosa between others. The combined effects of neem oil and GEN on P. aeruginosa are extensively investigated in this study, with particular attention paid to the downregulation of the virulent factor gene phzM, inhibition of biofilm formation, morphological changes, and gene expression, in that proportion. Results show that neem oil has strong antibacterial activity against P. aeruginosa and S. aureus, preventing the formation of biofilms and causing morphological alterations. In addition, the synergistic effects of neem oil and GEN are demonstrated, together in order with the downregulation of the phzM gene in P. aeruginosa. These results highlight the increased effectiveness of neem oil when combined with GEN and point to the potential of the oil as a stand-alone antibacterial agent. They also highlight the need for more study to overcome antibiotic resistance in harmful bacteria. Overall, our results point to a possibility that neem oil extract, either alone or in combination with GEN, can suppress the development of pathogenic microbes. This synergistic impact is related to the downregulation of a virulence factor gene. To address the drug resistance linked to pathogenic microbes, greater study is required. Novelty of study addresses the important issue of antibiotic resistance by exploring the potential synergistic effects of neem oil and gentamicin on pathogenic bacteria, particularly Pseudomonas aeruginosa. This topic is highly relevant in the context of the global challenge of antimicrobial resistance. Antimicrobial therapies are desperately needed since the threat posed by multidrug‐resistant (MDR) bacteria only grows. Bacteriocins produced by
The objective of this review was to describe the COVID-19 complications after recovery.
The researchers systematically reviewed studies that reported post-COVID-19 complications from three databases: PubMed, Google Scholar and the World Health Organization (WHO) COVID-19 database. The search was conducted between 21 November 2020 and 14 January 2021. Inclusion criteria were articles written in English, with primary data, reporting complications of COVID-19 after full
This review highlights recent advances in the development and use of eco-friendly polymeric membranes made from polymer blends for treating oily wastewater, a major source of environmental pollution. Among treatment options, membrane separation stands out because of its high efficiency and ability to selectively remove oil from water using semi-permeable barriers. The focus of this review is on polymeric membranes derived from polymer blends, which show improved mechanical strength, thermal stability, and resistance to fouling. Additionally, the role of nanomaterials such as titanium dioxide, graphene oxide, and iron nanoparticles is discussed for their ability to boost membrane porosity, permeability, and oil separation efficiency.

In addition, there are heightened maternal risks associated with surgical operations and their accompanying dangers. Monitoring fetal development is a crucial objective of prenatal care and effective methods for early diagnosis of Fetal growth restriction, allowing prompt management and timely intervention to improve the outcomes. Screening for Fetal growth restriction can be achieved via many modalities; it can be medical, biochemical, or radiological. Some recommended combining more than one for better outcomes. Currently, there is inconsistency about the best method of Fetal growth restriction screening. In this review, a comprehensive

A global aging population poses a challenge to the sustainability of conventional healthcare systems for the future. Simultaneously, recent years have seen remarkable progress in the Internet of Things (IoT) and communication technologies, alongside the growing importance of artificial intelligence (AI) explainability and information fusion. Therefore, developing smart healthcare systems based on IoT and advanced technologies is crucial. This would open up new possibilities for efficient and intelligent medical system
Pseudomonas aeruginosa has been identified as the main causative agent responsible for severe infections in burn patients worldwide. This study aimed to investigate the prevalence of the exoU/exoS genotype in P. aeruginosa isolates collected from burn wound infections in Iraq. From January to April 2023, a total of eighty isolates of P. aeruginosawere obtained from patients with burn wound infections in two Iraqi hospitals (Teaching Baghdad Hospital and AL-Yarmok Hospital). The isolates were first identified using biochemical tests and then verified using molecular techniques, specifically by targeting the 16S rRNA gene with specific primers. The exoU/exoS genotype was detected using conventional polymerase chain reaction (PCR) by specifical

This study investigates the synergistic influence of nano titanium dioxide (NT) and nano zinc oxide (NZ) on asphalt binder performance. Nine NT:NZ combinations (1:1 to 3:3) were prepared with 1–3% by binder weight, in addition to a reference binder (RB). The performance test program included; conventional tests (penetration, softening point, viscosity, and ductility), Dynamic Shear Rheometer (DSR) for performance grading, Multiple Stress Creep Recovery (MSCR) for rutting evaluation, and Linear Amplitude Sweep (LAS) for fatigue resistance. Furthermore, Statistical analysis (ANOVA) was performed to determine the significa

Typically, the addition of a polymer to an injection fluid advances the sweep efficiency and mobility ratio of the fluid and leads to a higher crude oil recovery rate. However, harsh reservoir conditions, including high formation salinity and temperature, can limit the performance of such polymer fluids. Recently, nanofluids, that is, dispersions of nanoparticles (NPs) in a base fluid, have been recommended as EOR fluids; however, such nanofluids are unstable, even under ambient conditions. In this work, a combination of ZrO2 NPs and the polyacrylamide (PAM) polymer (ZrO2 NPs–PAM) was us
