Exploring the antibacterial potential of neem oil (Azadirachta indica) in combination with gentamicin (GEN) against pathogenic molds, especially Pseudomonas aeruginosa, has drawn concern due to the quest for natural treatment options against incurable diseases. Prospective research directions include looking for natural cures for many of the currently incurable diseases available now. microbial identification system, were used to identify the isolates. The research utilized a range of methods, such as the diffusion agar well (AWD) assays, TEM (transmission electron microscopy) analysis, minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) assays, and real-time PCR (RT-qPCR) to analyze bacterial expression and the antibacterial action of neem oil (Azadirachta indica) combined with gentamicin (GEN) against the pathogenic bacteria Pseudomonas aeruginosa between others. The combined effects of neem oil and GEN on P. aeruginosa are extensively investigated in this study, with particular attention paid to the downregulation of the virulent factor gene phzM, inhibition of biofilm formation, morphological changes, and gene expression, in that proportion. Results show that neem oil has strong antibacterial activity against P. aeruginosa and S. aureus, preventing the formation of biofilms and causing morphological alterations. In addition, the synergistic effects of neem oil and GEN are demonstrated, together in order with the downregulation of the phzM gene in P. aeruginosa. These results highlight the increased effectiveness of neem oil when combined with GEN and point to the potential of the oil as a stand-alone antibacterial agent. They also highlight the need for more study to overcome antibiotic resistance in harmful bacteria. Overall, our results point to a possibility that neem oil extract, either alone or in combination with GEN, can suppress the development of pathogenic microbes. This synergistic impact is related to the downregulation of a virulence factor gene. To address the drug resistance linked to pathogenic microbes, greater study is required. Novelty of study addresses the important issue of antibiotic resistance by exploring the potential synergistic effects of neem oil and gentamicin on pathogenic bacteria, particularly Pseudomonas aeruginosa. This topic is highly relevant in the context of the global challenge of antimicrobial resistance. This research reviews studies that identify the habitats of the redbelly tilapia, Coptodon zillii, in Iraq, the environmental conditions favorable to this species distribution and proliferation, as well as its economic and social significance as a food source. Additonally, the study examines its effects on biodiversity through competition with native fish species for resources, as well as its role as reservoirs of pathogens, its adverse effect on human health due to the tendency to retain oil crude inside the tissues, and its impact on environmental and water quality by increasing water turbidity. Finally, the review exhibits recommendations for strategies to mitigate its detrimental effects on biodiversity as well as environment.
This study includes synthesis, characterization three series of the new derivatives via schiff bases for ampicillin which known as a high medicinal effectiveness. Series A include preparation schiff bases (A1-A6) by condensation of ampicillin with many substituted aldehyedes, while series B include preparation of six amines (B1-B6) is hydrazine hydrate derivatives by reaction schiff bases compounds which prepared in series A with hydrazine hydrate, then series C included for preparation of new six polymers C1-C6 by reaction of poly methyl methacrylate with amine compounds which prepared in series B. The synthesized polymers were identified by spectroscopic methods (FT-IR and 1 H-NMR) and measurement some of its physical characteristics.
Three phenol-formaldehyde resins having pendant maleimides were prepared by poly condensation of N-(hydroxyphenyl) maleimides with formaldehyde under conditions similar to those in Novolac preparation. The prepared resins were modified by two methods, the first one includes esterification of phenolic hydroxyl groups in the prepared resins via their treatment with benzoyl, acryloyl, methacryloyl and cinnamoyl chlorides respectively in the presence of triethylamine, while the second modification includes free radical polymerization of vinylic bonds in the prepared resins to produce cross-linked thermally stable polymers.
Manganese-zinc ferrite MnxZn1-xFe2O4 (MnZnF) powder was prepared using the sol-gel method. The morphological, structural, and magnetic properties of MnZnF powder were studied using X-ray diffraction (XRD), atomic force microscopy (AFM), energy dispersive X-ray (EDX), field emission-scanning electron microscopes (FE-SEM), and vibrating sample magnetometers (VSM). The XRD results showed that the MnxZn1-xFe2O4 that was formed had a trigonal crystalline structure. AFM results showed that the average diameter of Manganese-Zinc Ferrite is 55.35 nm, indicating that the sample has a nanostructure dimension. The EDX spectrum revealed the presence of transition metals (Mn, Fe, Zn, and O) in Mang
... Show MoreCuO nanoparticles were synthesized in two different ways, firstly by precipitation method using copper acetate monohydrate Cu(CO2CH13)2·H2O, glacial acetic acid (CH3COOH) and sodium hydroxide(NaOH), and secondly by sol-gel method using copper chloride(CuCl2), sodium hydroxide (NaOH) and ethanol (C2H6O). Results of scanning electron microscopy (SEM) showed that different CuO nanostructures (spherical and Reef) can be formed using precipitation and sol- gel process, respectively, at which the particle size was found to be less than 2 µm. X-ray diffraction (XRD)manifested that the pure synthesized powder has no inclusions that may exist during preparations. XRD result

Expansions and improvements in simulation software have lessened the time to develop a model. Simulating the reservoir aims to realize fluid flow, physical, and chemical procedures happening in a hydrocarbon reservoir adequately well for the reason of improving hydrocarbon recovery under various working stipulations. Grid-orientation effects are complicated problem in numerical reservoir simulation. These influences were coming when utilized of numerical utilization mechanism to conditions characterizing physically inconstant displacement procedure. These impacts happen in an assortment
The influence of SDBS, SLS, SLES, and SS as drag reducing agents on flow of Iraqi crude oil in pipelines was investigated in the present work. The effect of additive type, additive concentration, pipe diameter, solution flow rate, and the presence of elbows on the percentage of drag reduction (%Dr) and the amount of flow increases (%FI) was addressed. The maximum drag reduction was 55% obtained at 250 ppm SDBS surfactant flowing in straight pipes of 0.0508 m I.D. The dimensional analysis was used for grouping the significant quantities into dimensionless groups to reduce the number of variables. The results showed good agreement between the observed drag reduction percent values and the predicted ones with high value of the co

Show MoreThis research aims to prepare exercises of varying resistances and muscular work exchange for 200m freestyle swimmers, in addition to these exercises’ effects on physical adequacy and the time needed to complete this distance. The experimental method is the basis for the design of the experimental group and the control group of a 100% intentionally chosen sample from a community of elite-youth swimmers of 200m freestyle swimming for the sport season of 2020-2021 at the Police Sports Club. The sample consists of 15 swimmers that were divided, randomly, into two groups; 7 of them in the experimental group while 8 were in the control group. Physical adequacy was calculated with the use of swimmers’ mechanical energy measurements
