Estimation of the tail index parameter of a one - parameter Pareto model has wide important by the researchers because it has awide application in the econometrics science and reliability theorem.

Here we introduce anew estimator of ^"generalized median" type and compare it with the methods of Moments and Maximum likelihood by using the criteria, mean square error.

 The estimator of generalized median type performing best over all.

In this study it was found that a significant decrease in the level of leptin in young
Iraqi smokers (16+ 0.7ng/mL) compared to non smokers(24.2+ 4.5ng/mL) while, B2
microglobulin and CRPwas significantly increased in the smokers (1.2 + 0.3μg/mL),
(4.07+ 0.02mg/L) respectively, compared to non smokers (0.6 + 0.9μg/mL) ,( 2.88+
0.002mg/L) respectively, the presented data indicates the effect of smoking on these
immunological markers.

The conventional Archie and the Shaly-sand water saturation models was used in the evaluation of wells. "This paper presents a study of inclined magnetic field on the unsteady rotating flow of a generalized Maxwell fluid with fractional derivative between two inclined infinite circular cylinders through a porous medium. The analytic solutions for velocity field and shear stress are derived by using the Laplace transform and finite Hankel transform in terms of the generalized G functions. The effect of the physical parameters of the problem on the velocity field is discussed and illustrated graphically.

A newly developed analytical method characterized by its speed and sensitivity for the determination of metoclopramide hydrochloride (MCP-HCl) in pure and pharmaceutical preparation via turbidimetric measurement (0-180o) by Ayah 6SX1-T-2D Solar cell-CFI Analyser. The method was based on the reaction of phosphomolybdic acid with metoclopramide hydrochloride in acidic medium to form yellowish white precipitate for the ion-pair complex. Turbidity was measured via the reflection of incident light that collides on the surface precipitated particles at 0-180o. Chemical and physical parameters were studied and optimized.
