Accurate Three Dimensional Coordinates Measurements Using Differential GPS Real Time Kinematic Mode

The accurate 3-D coordinate's measurements of the global positioning systems are essential in many fields and applications. The GPS has numerous applications such as: Frequency Counters, Geographic Information Systems, Intelligent Vehicle Highway Systems, Car Navigation Systems, Emergency Systems, Aviations, Astronomical Pointing Control, and Atmospheric Sounding using GPS signals, tracking of wild animals, GPS Aid for the Blind, Recorded Position Information, Airborne Gravimetry and other uses. In this paper, the RTK DGPS mode has been used to create precise 3-D coordinates values for four rover stations in Baghdad university camp. The HiPer-II Receiver of global positioning system was used to navigate the coordinate value. The results will be compare with the Google Earth viewer coordinates values, the comparison shows that absolute error was few millimeters between actual and measured coordinate's values.

Drag-Reducing Agent for Aqueous Liquid Flowing in Turbulent Mode through Pipelines

In this study, mucilage was extracted from Malabar spinach and tested for drag-reducing properties in aqueous liquids flowing through pipelines.  Friction produced by liquids flowing in turbulent mode through pipelines increase power consumption. Drag-reducing agents (DRA) such as polymers, suspended solids and surfactants are used to reduce power losses. There is a demand for natural, biodegradable DRA and mucilage is emerging as an attractive alternative to conventional DRAs. Approximate Solution for advection dispersion equation of time Fractional order by using the Chebyshev wavelets-Galerkin Method

The aim of this paper is adopted to give an approximate solution for advection dispersion equation of time fractional order derivative by using the Chebyshev wavelets-Galerkin Method . The Chebyshev wavelet and Galerkin method properties are presented. This technique is used to convert the problem into the solution of linear algebraic equations. The fractional derivatives are described based on the Caputo sense. Illustrative examples are included to demonstrate the validity and applicability of the proposed technique.
