Sand production in unconsolidated reservoirs has become a cause of concern for production engineers. Issues with sand production include increased wellbore instability and surface subsidence, plugging of production liners, and potential damage to surface facilities. A field case in southeast Iraq was conducted to predict the critical drawdown pressures (CDDP) at which the well can produce without sanding. A stress and sanding onset models were developed for Zubair reservoir. The results show that sanding risk occurs when rock strength is less than 7,250 psi, and the ratio of shear modulus to the bulk compressibility is less than 0.8 1012 psi2. As the rock strength is increased, the sand free drawdown and depletion becomes larger. The CDDP of the upper and lower sand units are 3,900 and 5,400 psi at zero depletion rate, respectively. This indicates that the sanding risk may initiate earlier at the upper sand unit. The sanding potential occurs at the perforated interval within the upper sand unit when drawdown pressures reach 2,160 psi. The sensitivity analysis shows a wide range of CDDPs when the uncertainty of rock strength is considered. This study will assist in optimizing the type of completion and minimize the sanding risk in unconsolidated reservoirs.
Modern sports clubs in Baghdad are in urgent need of adopting advanced technologies to enhance the efficiency of their operational and administrative processes. Among the most prominent of these technologies is cloud computing, which offers flexible and cost effective solutions for data storage and application management. However, sports clubs in Baghdad face significant challenges in adopting this technology, manifested in technical and administrative obstacles that limit the full utilization of cloud computing capabilities. The research problem lies in identifying and analyzing these obstacles, with the aim of providing a comprehensive understanding of the challenges faced by sports clubs in Baghdad. Sports clubs deal with a huge amount o

To achieve the goal of research, the following zero hypothesis has been formulated: " There is no statistically significant difference at the semantic level (05.0) between the average scores of experimental group students who will study with design accreditation (educational - learning) according to the brain compatibility model and the grades of control group students who will study in the usual way in the achievement thinking test". Background: Imaging techniques play a very important role in the specialty of endodontic. The ultrasonographic technique is non-expensive procedure, safe, and reproducible. The aim of the study was to determine the sensitivity, specificity, and accuracy of ultrasound and color Doppler ultrasonography in evaluation of periapical lesions (cyst, granuloma, mixed lesion “cyst within graulomas mass”, and abscess. Subject, Material and method: The sample consists of prospective study for 64 Iraqi participants who attended Karbalaa Specialized Center for Dentistry (males & females). Those patients were diagnosed clinically and radiographically as having periapical lesions of dental origin. They were examined by real time ultrasound and color

After about twelve months or maybe more, some people can’t achieve pregnancy. This might be a sign of infertility as a reproductive system disease. The following study was carried out to investigate the DAZ 1 gene methylation level and its association with azoospermia in Iraqi patients. One hundred and fifty human blood samples were collected from from different regions in Baghdad governorate, including (private medicals Labs and the high institute for infertility diagnosis assisted reproductive techniques and Kamal Al- Samara'ay IVF Hospital) from both fertile and infertile men. The control group consists of 50 samples ranging from 22 to 51 years old, while the patient (infertile group) consists of 100 samples ranging between 25 and 51 y

A random laser is a non-conventional laser whose feedback mechanism is based on dissorder-induced light. However, random lasers occur in gain media with numerous scatterers and produce coherent laser emission without any predesigned cavity. The generation of coherent emission from multiple scattering is quite general and its basic principles are shown here using sulforhodamine B-TiO suspensions system. These suspensions were pumped with 337.1 nm pulses from N2 laser and the spectral and temporal behavior of light emitted from the pumped surface was recorded. When we pump power above a certain threshold a dramatic narrowing of the emission line width and a shortening of the emitted pulses were observed. We have experimentally found that i
